I don't trust Factor 5 with flight games involving motion controls. :|

Flight game? I was hoping Kid Icarus would be some kind of God of War like game with action/platforming/puzzle solving and all out epicness.

Well, in this case I'd have much rathered Retro handle Icarus while Factor 5 take a shot at pulling Starfox out of the shitter :/

Well who knows?  Maybe Factor 5 is trying their hands at something new and not making a flight game.  I don't want KI to be just a flight game... that would suck, but I also am not going to write it off because of the dev.  

I'm surprised at all the people blindly coming in and saying "I think it's Retro".

It's all but definite that it's Factor 5, considering Matt's comments (and the reaction it got).

Factor 5 or Retro I don't all I want is if Kid Icarus wii arrives I'd like to see it faithful the classic one because Kid Icarus was really a great game for a NES (Jumpin' like Mario, Shootin' like Samus and of course collection items like Link).

I'm very ok with Factor5 developing Kid Icarus.
They're a good developer (everyone makes mistakes-> Lair) and at least we can be certain that Kid Icarus will have a "mature" look.

I hope it will be Mario vs Zelda vs Metroid. It would be awesome.

Don't forget that Nintendo will have people assisting Factor5 with this, if they are making Kid Icarus. Rest assured that Nintendo will want the comeback of Kid Icarus to be as high a quality as the GC comeback of Metroid.

I think it's Retro... A while back an IGN podcast suggested they knew Retro wouldn't be making any Metroids in the near future. I can't remember the quote exactly or how long ago it was, but they said it was unlikely we’d see a key Metroid this generation. Add to that the graphics comment and it seems like a good guess. I'm not the most clued up on this, but based on snatches of information I've been thinking Retro.

I'd really looking forward to a new Kid Icarus. I've never played a single KI game (or SSBB - yet), however since the Dojo posted 'Pits Decent' I've been excited for a new game. But yeah the voice has to change...

This might just be me, but when has ever a new Nintendo franchise (or a revival) been of low quality? I'm talking about the titles for more advanced players (I.E not Mario Party and such, which are good, but by a different standard.)

For a flight game, it would have to be drastically different from Star Fox. Nintendo never makes the same game (more advanced games, not Mario Party and such. And anyway not 2 franchises that are alike).

i'm itching for a ki game thats a mix between zelda adventuring and dungeon crawling and mario platforming, to me that would be heavenly.

I thought it was pretty obvious that it wasn't Retro.

I'm a little weary of Factor 5, especially if it's supposed to be an all flight game...
