Forums - Gaming - RUMOR - Any future Call of Duty games to be handled by Infinity Ward only?

Well, doing it in Japan (imperial I assume) would be quite interesting (better than the standard), as it has only been done once before from an FPS perspective
However, I feel the fantastic CoD brand name that has been made by 4, could be damaged by 5, but I doubt that they can keep the series going beyond 6. Generally, a series has gone on too long if it getting to number 7 (apart from sports games, or FFs, cause they are so different)

This is good news to fans of the series, there were talks of someone else handling the development of CoD 5 (but I don't remember who or why...).
I'm actually excited to be taken back to WWII, its been a good while since a good WWII FPS surfaced adn there's a lot of pressure to make a really good game after the staggering success of CoD 4 and the great reviews and feedback it got!

I wish.

We had two bags of grass, seventy-five pellets of mescaline, five sheets of high-powered blotter acid, a salt shaker half full of cocaine, a whole galaxy of multi-colored uppers, downers, screamers, laughers…Also a quart of tequila, a quart of rum, a case of beer, a pint of raw ether and two dozen amyls.  The only thing that really worried me was the ether.  There is nothing in the world more helpless and irresponsible and depraved than a man in the depths of an ether binge. –Raoul Duke

It is hard to shed anything but crocodile tears over White House speechwriter Patrick Buchanan's tragic analysis of the Nixon debacle. "It's like Sisyphus," he said. "We rolled the rock all the way up the mountain...and it rolled right back down on us...."  Neither Sisyphus nor the commander of the Light Brigade nor Pat Buchanan had the time or any real inclination to question what they were doing...a martyr, to the bitter end, to a "flawed" cause and a narrow, atavistic concept of conservative politics that has done more damage to itself and the country in less than six years than its liberal enemies could have done in two or three decades. -Hunter S. Thompson

No it isn't..This morning someone posted it on Gamed.nl and we got a word that it isn't true.

Too bad the same site you cited debunked this rumor already. Activision has denied it.
