Golden Sun 3 should've been in development a long time ago. I have no idea why they just abandoned such a great series.

if they remade or made GS3 for the DS I would have to buy a DS.... blah...

Golden Sun has done really well on the GBA so it is suprising that GS3 has not been made yet but it is still good to know that Camelot care for the series

There was/has (been) speculation since last year that Golden Sun 3 has been in the works for some time for the DS. Not going to lie, because The Lost Age IS linked to some form of a third game (after The Lost Age is completed and saved, you can SEND your cleared data to ANOTHER game). My guess is that GS3 has been in the works for the DS, because of the GBA slot, you can transport your code and data onto a third game.

Don't believe me? The saved data code from the original Golden Sun game can be used on ANY language of the game. How? I downloaded a ROM of The Lost Age (Japanese version; before the English version was released) and had used a webpage from GameFaqs that had information on how to transfer English data to the Japanese version. I DID do that and have played with Isaac, Garet, Ivan and Mia's data on the Japanese version of The Lost Age.

So yes, you can already bet that Camelot has been working on a third Golden Sun game.
