 Online retailer amazon.com is playing console favorites, it seems. On its video games page,it headlines that GTA IV is "meant to be played on the PS3." Strangely, no mention of the Xbox 360 version is made.

Could the retailer be biased? Or, did Sony shell out a little extra dough for this bit of text? Either way, we wonder if this will ever-so-slightly help the PS3 version with its sales.

Maybe the number of people buying the PS3 version on Amazon are lower so they want to convince perspective buyers to choose the PS3 version instead, or maybe they have a bunch of different people writing the descriptions and they add in whatever they want?

I don't know, just some ideas.

maybe....in UK PS3 version has outsold 360 version for the past 6 weeks..

in USA PS3 version has been lower but by only 2 spots at a time..or maybe 3..

maybe amazon still thinks GTA = T3H PLAYSTATION

or maybe SONY didn't lie on GT TV when they said THEY would MARKET GTA IV A LOT!

Yea... I'm pretty sure I saw Xbox360's a while ago...

 Yeah, but only the ps3 version says "Meant to be played on ______."

When I first clicked the link the 360 version came up, and I had to refresh to see the ps3 bit, lol.
