Not sure what the PS5 not holding power is supposed to mean... do you mean the DS isn't holding the charge?

I think they just mean that the console won't power on any more.

Kind of a strange phrase.

I imagined similar, but well better to confirm.

Can't wait to see how Bungie will excite the community only to let them down again I haven't seen Destiny 2 in this bad a state since year 1. Bungie typically follows up a terrible expansion with a great one though, so we'll see.

My phrasing was weird. My PS5 would keep turning off without warning. I tried different cables and outlets and still no fix. I even tried updating while using safe mode. I mailed out the package today, and hopefully it comes back in 3 weeks or sooner.

Guys, I once was a major Sony fan and played everything they released and praised the hell out of it even if it was mediocre, but recently I've lost the passion for console gaming and switched to PC.

Is there anything that can bring me back to the PlayStation Nation with full passion or am I now just an old PC pleb that buys all the latest pc parts just to play the same 10 year old game with 1 extra frame?

Your suggestions and feedbacks are highly appreciated.
Thank you.

I feel like you should fill in some more details on what you've played/what you're interested in/what you're looking for, in the past ten years in order to actually give a better answer.

Personally been having a good time with Final Fantasy XVI, had a good time with God of War Ragnarok, Horizon Forbidden West, Demon's Souls.

All of the Souls games are available on PS4/PS5, and almost all of them are 60 fps on PS5.

Almost all of the mainline Final Fantasy games are available on PS4/PS5.

Major issue, good luck with warranty

As a PC player myself, the biggest reason to get a PS5 is if you prefer to not wait for exclusive games to eventually be ported to PC. Sony has steadily been porting their first-party games to PC. But standard output will be 1-2 years. Their GaaS titles SEEM to be coming to PC at launch, but that's not official yet IIRC.

There's a good catalog of PS exclusives on PC now. Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart will be arriving in a few weeks as well.

So that and the benefits of the PS+ subscription service are the two biggest highlights for diving into a PS5.

But I'm an outsider looking in, so I certainly don't have all the answers when it comes to all the benefits.

EDIT: Oh and Astro's Playroom (bundled with every PS5 as a tech demo but a GREAT game by itself but will likely never release on PC) and of course, PSVR2 if you're into VR.

I guess your vision of the benefits as someone that is more a pc player will be more valuable for him than someone that is mostly ps player

I figured I could give insight as a pc player looking in to add on top of the insight of the ps players here in the thread so that he could get a full picture of everything and be able to make a personal decision. Because I definitely wouldn't have all the answers from a mostly ps player such as yourself.

I did have to make an edit on my comment for Astro's Playroom as that will most likely never release on PC as well as adding in PSVR2.
