It was funny that the Intergalactic rumor came out of nowhere and two different people shut down the two main points. The release date and if it would be or not at TGA.

The dude that started the rumor didn't make any sense, doesn't matter how many contacts you have Sony already said Wolverine will be their biggest launch of next year. If Intergalactic had any chance to release next year it would be acknowledged by Sony. Also TTI can release GTA6 whenever they want but if the game has a release window (fake or not) publishers who share market with them won't release their big projects in the middle of a cultural event like that lol.

Why would it even be on TGA again?

If Sony is having a big thing there, it's a new reveal, they will have their own events to show Intergalactic gameplay and updates on the way to the release.

Wolverine is Sony's next big tentpole title, although I'm personally more excited for Marvel Tokon and Saros, so I would be pretty surprised to see anything Intergalactic related until at least TGA 2026 or even a Q1 2027 SoP. After Wolverine's release.

That's what the guy said lol. I want all things Intergalactic in SoP not in TGA.

If Sony shows something at these TGA I hope it's Tokon and nothing else.

If they show the rumored GOW I wouldn't mind either but I don't want to see the Horizon multiplayer, Fairgames nor the LFG MOBA there. Marathon has some chances of appearing I think, that will be the bathroom break lol.

I honestly think Sony would be incredibly stupid not to show the Horizon MP title there. In fact, it's what I imagine they will show. 

It's Horizon, an MP title, and running on Decima. Should be a thing of beauty to see. 

Tokon, GoW 2.5 and Horizon MP are the 3 titles I think have the most chance of being shown off. Wolverine too, but I think they've secured enough visibility to not require it being there. But the more they show off the better I say. 

I won't even wait for the 2.5D GoW thing anymore until/if it's real, missed the whole 20th anniversary year lol.

I think don't think Tokon new characters would be the "one last thing" moment, that have to be something huge, maybe it's not something from Sony this year.

Cory Barlog new game was never confirmed to not be God of War, right? A proper full fledged God of War or Santa Monica game would certainly be big enough to fit the role, tho.

I also don't think Horizon MP would please anyone just because it's a MP game, so I doubt it would be THE game there. Horizon 3 could, but that's definitely a 2028 game, maybe a PS6 release title like, so best be saved for later.

TGA is the ideal audience venue to show off an MP title, especially one that will have the graphical fidelity and world scale of Horizon.

I disagree.

What people really don't want to see nowdays is Sony announcing another MP focused title, even less on an event that is not Playstation focused having potentialy multiple big new game reveals, and if they do that as the big announcement for such an event, I can see a lot of backslash with very little benefits.

People will mock it however good it may look (visual and gameplay wise) and bring Concord up immediatly.

What Sony needs to show in this kind of event is their next big singleplayer game, Horizon 3 would be a good pick, Horizon MP would not.

And to be honest, if it was up to me they would only reveal games on their own events anyway.

I know TGA is the biggest stage and it would make a lot on sense to show Horizon there but my reasoning is Sony already has too much bad blood in that show and showing any service would create hate that the developers don't deserve, ND having to silence the comments in the reveal of Intergalactic was really unfair for them. 

I have a lot of hopes for the Horizon Multiplayer and it's in my wishlist for next year releases, that's why I want the reveal trailer in a SoP with people who actually care watching. The games that I think would be safe if they show in TGA are Cory's game, GOW, Tokon, Firesprite's game (because outsiders don't really know about them lol) and Media Molecule's game could be the potencial only service that would be safe. If those are the ones that would be safe I want them to focus in the game that is supposed to release next year lol. 

Smart waiting to see a confirmation before talking about it. Personally it didn't bother me that they skipped the 20th anniversary, when the rumors started I was like "cool, maybe we can see something next year", it wasn't until the last rumor about the delay to 2026 that I realized people were actually expecting it for this year lol.
