Just watched her trailer. So good lol. Kuro is on a mission to let everyone know that they're no less than Mihoyo (minus the output lol), and other developers are trying the same. Good luck to them, they all deserve success for the quality on display, and the drive to outdo themselves and each other.

Also watched Seed's trailer from ZZZ, and I don't recall being emotionally connected to a character as quickly as with daddy Seed. The delivery is immaculate.

FF14 was great but pretty outdated. You could feel its PS3 era MMO roots. Had a great time with it nevertheless, a lot of stuff to do and the combat can actually get insane when played with a controller (the way controller shortcuts work is super satisfying), and the story in the better parts is peak. My main class was Dragoon ;D and my character was an old man that went by "The'elder Strolls" (A wordplay on The Elder Scrolls).

About Seed and Seed Sr. in ZZZ, the actress crying and sobbing while a speech is going on was really hitting me. Sadly I'm not pulling for her, I'll try Orphie instead.

Trailer spoilers ahead: This Miyabi trailer made me actually cry tho,

I often look for people on youtube reacting on it for the first time to see emotion rush on them.

Miyabi on ZZZ hitting just before christmas, and Mavuika hitting exactly at new year's eve was insane. Mihoyo all time peak.

Miyabi's introduction, ver 1.4's ending, and all her trailers are great. The short film remains my tied favorite ZZZ video with Seed's. "To destroy all the bad guys 😠".

She kept getting more bits and pieces that slowly built her character, whereas papa Seed dies as soon as he's introduced, and yet it feels like you knew him for a long time...

I've always been a sucker for both Miyabi (a cold-ish badass warrior with a tragic background and a heart of gold) and Seed Sr style characters (well made parent/child dynamics, especially father/daughter, mess me up man. Isaburo/Nobume, Joel/Sarah+Ellie, Mando/Grogu, etc).

Miyabi is my favorite yeah, not only she is a massive badass, but she plays like a dream. She is clearly one of the dev team's favorite as well as she is treated with their best efforts. But all that stuff should be available in the game, by now ZZZ has hours of great content serving just as trailers and not on the game. Mihoyo sure loves to waste great material just as marketing.

I did Seed story last week and it was good, even somewhat longer than most tbh, but they gave Magus (and Orphie by extention) the spotlight in the main story and made Seed story only relevant on her own vhs chapter.

It's also sad how they are treating Soldier 11 after Silver Soldier Anby story gave her so much exposure, in the Seed story it's as if Soldier 11 almost doesn't belong to the Obol Squad, even as she was the only character from there at launch and for over a year. As she is the only standard S-rank and not a premium like the other 3, it looks like they don't even want to deal with her in current story anymore, she was lacking lines, all her built up personality, and acting as if she didn't even know them.

Do you watch someone playing ZZZ, btw? You seem to be engaged and know stuff about it, or are the traliers enough for that?

Marathon may be there (meh) and the God of War metroidvania too (interested in finally seeing it).

Some say Wolverine is getting read to be shown but they should really wait until after Ghost of Yotei for that.

Vandal(Spain)- It been a month and a half where the PS5 is selling more than the Switch 2 in terms of consoles.
I also don't think Nintendo is super happy with games that aren't theirs. Third-party games, aside from Cyberpunk, not much else is really performing well.

Sales of Star Wars Outlaws for Switch 2 was 600 units in the first week. A disaster.
That same week, Daemon x Machina releases and sold 700 units.
Chronos sold 2,800 on PS5 and 300 on Switch 2, it launched at the same time on both PS5 and Switch 2.
