Sony is taking down Resistan 1 and 2 from PS+ Premium. I know it's cool to be pessimistic these days buy I am an optimistic person so ... Spider Man was out before announcing Spider Man 2, Horizon ZD before LEGO Horizon was announced and Horizon Forbidden West before Horizon Remastered.

The chances for something to happen are there lol.

Even if something happened I wouldn't expect anything but the bare minimum. I'd hate to be wrong and have a fully realised remaster of all 3 games.

I'd also like Vita to make it to PS Classics so the Vita title (as bad as it may be) is playable.

Don't forget that many countries don't have the streaming service to play PS3 games so even if it's the minimum effort as much as it could be criticized it would still be a better decision than doing nothing for those countries.

If it actually happens of course there is always a chance for it to be a not so great product but I don't see any precedent to expect it to end that way. The meme of ps4 games remastered to ps5 looking the same only works before the games already looked great to begin with lol but we are talking about a 19 year old game.

We can see how they have reworked ps3 games for this and last gen:

-The last of Us Part 1 in 2022 was a straight up remake.

-Demon's Souls in 2020 was a remake and probably the best remake Sony has released.

-Shadow of the Colossus in 2018 was a remake.

-The Jak and Daxter Bundle in 2017 were ports of PS2 games already remastered.

-Uncharted collection and God of War 3 in 2015 were good remasters (With the whole conversation of Uncharted potentially getting a remake there's many people in the Uncharted community saying the 2015 collection is enough lol).

-TLOU remastered in 2014 was also a good remaster.

The chances of getting back Resistance are low but if it actually happens I can't but expect a good product.

Brazil doesn't get the PS3 streaming, for example.

Not missing anything. Even with google fiber internet and Ping of 3ms. It's laggy as shit. Hitches all the time. It's unplayable for me.

I don't care for streaming, I wouldn't touch it even if it was there, also wouldn't sub for that either lol.

Just saying that here there is less reasons for that tier to be priced so high or even exist, as other people might care.

It looks like Sony is considering spinning off their semi-conductor business to go all in on their entertainment divisions via Bloomberg. They are also planning to spin off their financial division later this year.

A24 is really the only big move Sony can make for their entertainment divisions outside of gaming. We got rumors of Kadokawa late last year, but its interesting that Bandai Namco is working on a few dormant Japan Studio IP's.

That's bad, putting all your eggs in the same basket can be desastrous, for example imagine the PS6 repeats the PS3, Sony might actually get destroyed.

So we can hunt down the 6 big enemies in any order in Yotei, I love this as one thing I do in open world games is go explore what I feel like in the moment.

Can't stop thinking about Kill Bill and it's making me get really hyped for this game.

Morbid curiosity got the better of me when playing Ninja Gaiden. I knew the game was bad but I wanted to see how bad. Yaiba NInja Gaiden Z. Turns out Sony's streaming is worse than the game.

I can't imagine Sony bleeding money like they did with the PS3 ever again. Like, they would need to be willing to eat major losses in hardware, with PlayStation Plus essentially dying out lol.

There's so many games I'm waiting for to go on sale to finally play and it keeps on building up lol.

Clair Obscur, Silent Hill 2, Spacemarine, Pacific Drive, Persona 3 Reload, Astro Bot, DragonBall Sparking Zero, and that's not counting games like Doom, or Nintendo Switch exclusives like Luigi's Mansion 3.
