Forums - Sony Discussion - PlayStation Nation |OT| Playing Astro Bot on the Horizon Until Dawn

Seeing both Playstation and Xbox titles coming to PC is basically two of three things I wanted a decade ago , crazy how its become a reality and potentially become more common in the future.

(Ironically I'm at a better financial state so I can afford to buy all the platforms while playing on PC platforms like Steam) .

Anyways...hoping Nintendo jumps in, never say never :)

"We believe that continuing with our integrated hardware-software dedicated gaming console business is the best strategy at this point,” Furukawa said this week.

From the conference call the beginning of this month. Even Nintendo is acknowledging that they consider different strategies and at some point may change from their current norm. It certainly could happen one day.

Would anyone here play halo on the PS5?

I don't like Halo but I liked Gears 5.

Helldivers 2 sitting on a 83 on Metacritic.

Arrowhead, just like Housemarque, is another great example of Sony cultivating their relationship with a smaller studio, and having that blossom into a major title down the road.

It looks like From Software is now the owner of the Elden Ring IP.

Sony acquiring Kadokawa for their multimedia capabilities was always a possibility. Now it seems like a no brainer.

So, since MS is very likely developing one of their own, a new Sony handheld/Switch-like: yay or nay?

I don't think it would be a good idea for Sony with the amount of the studios they have. For now, the PlayStation Portal is sort of the perfect solution to a Sony handheld.

Anyone here already played Helldivers 2? Is it also fun alone?

A year ago I would've said nay. But looking at the pc handheld market and Sonys big push into accessories (including portal), I don't think it's necessarily a bad idea if it's like a portable scaled down ps5.

But I think they'll continue with the Portal, which I think is a better idea. Going me better battery life and cloud support.
