Sony Q2 2023 financials will be reported tomorrow 9th Nov.
Any last minute predictions for how many PS5's shipped during last quarter (july to sep)?

I'd say 6 million.

Just finished spider-man 2. Overall it was fun, but I have a lot of issues with it. Overall I'd probably give it 7/10

Agreed. My main issue is that Spider-Man has turned into Sting the Wrestler. All the best friends turn into the bad guys at the end. They've recycled the same plot points for 3 games now. Time to do something new with it.

It's almost like a major theme in all Spider-Man media is his connection to his friends, family, and community...

My Console Library:

PS5, Switch, XSX

PS4, PS3, PS2, PS1, WiiU, Wii, GCN, N64 SNES, XBO, 360

3DS, DS, GBA, Vita, PSP, Android

Not to forget that they didn't even turn into bad guys (and well they are using source material villains) it is the thing they are working on that take over their mind and push them to do bad stuff. And probably public likes more a story of a good person turning bad or doing evil stuff than a goofy evil villain that do bad stuff just for fun.

God of War pre-release bugs

Some design spoilers, if someone is still on blackout.

A bit behind God of War.

"We are reviewing this… we are trying as much as possible to ensure [these games] are enjoyed and liked by gamers for a long time," he said. "[Of] the 12 titles, six titles will be released by FY25 - that's our current plan. [As for] the remaining six titles, we are still working on that.

"That's the total number of live service and multiplayers titles [and] mid-to-long-term we want to [push] this kind of service and that's the unchanged policy of the company. It's not like we stick to certain titles, but game quality should be the most important [thing]."

Sony is dropping from 12 to 6 live service games to be out by March 2025. The other 6 were primarily delayed.

Sony is also planning to reduce Gaming M&A by 20% next year.

And I'm not entirely sure what that would entail. They were still paying off Bungie this year, so I'm not sure how big of a factor that would be.

But it sounds like contrary to previous reports, Sony doesn't really intend to do a lot of M&A. Perhaps a few more studios next year. Doesn't sound like there are plans to buy a publisher, so that's good.

Being sincere I would love if some of those were cancelled =p
