I consider it to be very acceptable graphically but yes the FF7R is much above it. |
I think I just made the mistake of immediately firing up CC Reunion right after beating FF7R lol. Not diminishing the experience though.

That's......interesting. I figured an SSD would be required. Even Starfield that will have loading screens requires an SSD. I'm interested to see how Nixxes was able to get the port working. I'm assuming taking more utilization from the RAM, but just 16GB is enough which is standard these days. Only 32GB recommendation is for the complete balls out experience.

>For the past five years, we've been on a journey with accessibility organizations and experts to create a versatile controller kit that enables gamers with disabilities to play more comfortably and for longer periods, empowering more players to share in the joy of gaming. Today, I'm thrilled to announce that the Access controller for PS5 will be available globally on December 6, with preorders kicking off on Friday, July 21.
>Available for a suggested retail price of $89.99 USD/$119.99 CAD/¥12,980 JPY/€89.99/£79.99 (MSRP), the Access controller lets you customize your layout with different button and stick caps in various shapes and designs, operate the controller from any 360° orientation, and connect third-party accessibility accessories using its four industry-standard 3.5mm expansion ports.
>On your PS5 console, there are many settings for the Access controller that you can configure to meet your needs. You can map buttons to create up to 30 control profiles, adjust stick settings, toggle commands on/off, or disable buttons altogether to stop accidental pressing. SSD is required for anything above 720P @30fps (and even then they still recommend an SSD)

Yes, but recommend isn't the same thing as required. Because that means the game is still completely playable on an HDD regardless of what resolution and fidelity you run the game at. Assumingly, the experience will be compromised. We'll be finding out here in a couple of weeks.
I'm lowkey looking forward to seeing YouTube videos of people trying to run the game at 4K, Ray Tracing set to Ultra, and Ultra graphical fidelity settings on an HDD. I wanna see what kind of shenanigans it'll cause in-game

FF CC is on the Switch, so I'm sure that factors into the graphics on the other consoles as well.
This feels like a pretty good piece of evidence that Activision needs PlayStation more than PlayStation needs Activision.
Making CoD exclusive on Battle.net did nothing to change the fortunes of the platform, and removing it off Steam did nothing to stop Steam from growing massively.

Seems like people are slowly forfeiting physical, that is sad for me.

Compared to the regular controler I would say the price is fair.

I would expect some issues on the transitions, rifting and some big loading scenes. And well the original comment was that they needed the PS5 (and the SSD) to run this R&C (as intended), powering through with a lot more processing power, RAM and them getting performance issues with HDD doesn't really deny that point.
