Yes, but recommend isn't the same thing as required. Because that means the game is still completely playable on an HDD regardless of what resolution and fidelity you run the game at. Assumingly, the experience will be compromised. We'll be finding out here in a couple of weeks.

I'm lowkey looking forward to seeing YouTube videos of people trying to run the game at 4K, Ray Tracing set to Ultra, and Ultra graphical fidelity settings on an HDD. I wanna see what kind of shenanigans it'll cause in-game
