Sen. John Hoffman and his spouse were shot multiple times, they are both out of surgery.

law enforcement officials say they made a proactive check at Rep. Hortman's home after a lawmaker who lived nearby was shot and found a "police vehicle in the driveway with emergency lights and what appeared to be a police officer at the door coming out of the house." He was actually the gunman.

Law enforcement official on Hortman shooting: "It was knocking on the door and asking the person to come out. Absolutely impersonating a police officer ... we have the suspect's car. The suspect is on foot."

Is it that easy to impersonate a cop in America? JFC...Are they sure he wasn't actually a cop? Or maybe a former cop? Dressed as a police officer, driving a police vehicle, fully equipped to impersonate a real police vehicle, with a convincing fake badge, other cops saw the dude and were fooled by him and he still managed to escape a shoot-out with other police. He retreated back into the home and still escaped...Goddamnit. This murdering scumbag sounds like he knew exactly what he was doing, doesn't sound like some sloppy hitjob.

Hope they catch him quickly and get all those officials on his manifesto surrounded by security.

Senator Tina Smith confirmed in an interview with MPR that her name was on the hit list found in the gunman’s vehicle.

In a news conference, the Minnesota State Patrol asked people not to attend today's planned anti-Trump demonstrations across Minnesota out of an abundance of caution. State Patrol Col. Christina Bogojevic said the suspects' vehicle contained fliers for the "No Kings" events.

Law enforcement found a hit list in the Minnesota suspect’s car that contained nearly 70 names, a law enforcement official briefed on the matter told CNN.

The names included abortion providers, pro-abortion rights advocates, and lawmakers in Minnesota and other states, the official added. Law enforcement also found a Father’s Day card addressed to the suspect in a bag full of ammunition, the official said.

A second official briefed on the case echoed the targeting of abortion providers to CNN’s Holmes Lybrand.

The list included dozens of other Democrats from Minnesota, including Gov. Walz, Rep. Ilhan Omar, Sen. Tina Smith and Attorney General Keith Ellison, according to law enforcement sources familiar with the matter.

There is so much disinformation being spread by the usual bots and Republicans all because NY Post reported that this guy was in Walz administration, therefore that automatically means that he must have been a Democrat and ignore all evidence to the contrary, now there's a lot of Republicans saying he is a Democrat killing other Democrats. His name is Vance Luther Boelter. He was a Board Member/Adviser on the Governors Workforce Development. You can see in the link below, all the Board Members at the time and the companies they worked for. At the time he worked for a company called Speedway, an American convenience store and gas station chain.

So what does the Governors Workforce Development do?

So he was basically just an adviser for business development because *drumroll* he was a business leader.

There is zero reason to assume that he was a Democrat based solely on this information and to do so would be stupid. Especially when this comes from Tim Walz, a man who has spent years talking about how much he reaches across the aisle and works with Republicans when it actually benefits people, Tim Walz who himself comes from a heavy Republican district and has won multiple elections in Republican heavy areas.

He has given religious talks across the world in missionary work and his kill list included a lot of pro-choice campaigners and he ran a security company which operated in the West Bank, Southern Lebanon and Gaza.

He has thus far killed one Democrat and attempted to kill another. His kill list included Democrats from the centre all the way to one of the most left wing Democrats in the damn country (Ilhan Omar) so if he was a Democrat, I can't see how it has anything to do with centre vs left when he wants to kill Democrats across all spectrums.
