Mark Kelly is the only one I’m familiar with of those three. And I’m a big fan of his. He’d be an excellent choice. And we might actually get some proper damn funding for NASA.
It would mean exciting times ahead if he becomes the next Vice President of the United States. It’s bigger than just the future of the US. This is for the future of Western civilization and the entire world. Because, as it stands, the West has been gradually turning away from the future. Leaving it in the slimy cynical hands of the likes of Jeff Bezos, Elon Musk, and other self-important billionaire jackasses. And democracy, the people? Bogged down by conflict, poverty, and hatred… Mark Kelly is someone who can lead the vision of the West beyond all that crap, return to optimism, and bring back the future as the focal point for all humanity.
With a guy like Mark Kelly in office, there won’t be a question of whether humanity will return to the moon, and then to Mars. And if Western space agencies achieve something like that, they sure as hell won’t stop there. We’ll explore the moons of Jupiter and Saturn, the Oort Cloud and beyond. Deep space and the galaxy. And then we’ll have the resources and drive for the big questions. Can we get to other star systems? Are we alone? Is there life out there? Civilizations?
Mark Kelly is quite an exciting proposition.
