The optics of Kelly, a former Astronaut + Navy and Harris, a Prosecutor vs Trump, a Felon, Insulter of Soldiers and Failed Businessman + JD Vance, is certainly a strong one, I think people would warm a lot to Mark Kelly on the national scale. Ah honestly Harris has a few great candidates to choose from.

If they really just organized to prop up Harris instead of a genuine open convention since he got all the primary votes (or vast majority) then that is truly the scummiest way to get a presidential nominee in history. No one should vote for her and certainly not the 14 million who were told their vote didn't matter.

You are aware that primaries as we know them are like 50 years old at best, right? And Biden's delegates are free to choose whomever they want in the convention-including the person who was also on the ticket those primary voters opted for.

Trying to present this as 1968 or worse is not only disingenuous but outright malicious, which I'm more inclined to believe given your post story. Perhaps you should direct your anger at the man who actually wanted to make 70+ million votes not matter in 2020. But you defended him instead, what a surprise.

I think deep down in our hearts we all always knew that Robert Downey Jr. is a bad actor.

Legend11 correctly predicted that GTA IV will outsell Super Smash Bros. Brawl. I was wrong.

Seems like a risky move to snatch up a Gov of a swing state, no?

Beshear and Cooper are term-limited anyway, and not sure but I assume Kelly's replacement would be chosen by the Democratic governor.

Replacement senators/representatives only serve until the next general election, which is in November of this year. And as an Arizonan would rather have Kelly representing Arizona in the Senate, especially when the Republican offerings are Kari Lake and Mark Lamb, aka Sheriff Joe 2.0.

They're really fucking desperate between this and "she has a loud laugh", Lol.

Conservatives suddenly start pretending that they care about the will of the people.

I love when the rhetoric is so on its face absurd.

Do they really think they can win with her?

Yes.

Bernie was screwed by the DNC to get Hillary on the ticket.
The DNC bombed this primary to ensure Joe being the nominee with no campaigning, no competition by better candidates.
The DNC lying about Joe for years, exposed by the debate, only then pressuring Joe out.
To keep campaign funds, crowning Harris.

American politics is disgusting, no matter where you sit.

Bernie lost. Get over it.

Nobody challenged Biden. Get over it.

(People don't tend to challenge the incumbent from their own party).

The majority want Harris. Get over it.

What majority? She got zero delegates in 2020 primaries. DNC's Super delegates are not representative of the D voter base.

She got a chance to prove leadership when Biden gave her the border, she decided to duck. She is a terrible option.

Majority of polls (which everyone was basing their entire damn arguments over the past few weeks) put Harris ahead of every other contender and the people already voted for the Biden-Harris ticket, the people voted knowing Harris was the VP, she is the natural step down. Mini-Primary is useless, I 100% guarantee she would win it and it only serves to waste time which aids the Republicans.

The border? The same border in which Republicans voted down a right-wing border bill because Trump told them to do so? Because it would "give the Democrats a win" for the election? We're talking about that same border? The border which Republicans don't give a shit about "fixing" because it's one of their key arguments for getting power?

Polls? Really?

Polls that said Hillary would win for sure? Polls that said Brexit would not happen?

You are using Polls to make an argument? Come on, how old are you?

Harris-Border. I'm talking about leadership. She decided to duck. I don't care if she would have done a good job or a bad job. But she got the Job and decided to duck. A potato to hot for her. Leadership is not about taking on the easy stuff, it's taking on the difficult ones. She failed on that one.
