I think what needs to happen is...

1. Biden steps down after the RNC.

2. He uses the reasoning as something along the lines of, after having discussions with friends, family and his doctor, he has came to the decision that his body both physically and mentally would not be able to cope with the demands of another 4 years, he knows that it's starting to show and knows it's time for him to step aside for a better candidate. He knows the American people deserve better.

3. While he doesn't run for re-election, he should maintain the presidency until the next president takes over, as his final ride, allowing Harris to put her full focus and attention into campaigning.

4. He fully endorses Harris to take over.

5. Democrats do not have an open convention, they all shut the hell up and start kissing Harris feet, they must all start uniting 100% behind her because once she takes over that's it, there is no Plan C. I want to see every single Democrat doing everything in their power to help her victory, I don't want to see anymore dooming or complaining, this will be the time for unity.

Biden will go down to some as a bit of a hero for performing an incredibly selfless act for his party, for his country, a thing that few American Presidents have done and something Republicans wouldn't ever dare dream of doing. He can show that he's different, not a power-hungry maniac and bow out gracefully, which may help pass some of the support over to Harris.

Ben-Gvir told ministers delaying captive deal could help Trump: Report

Israel’s National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir has told Israeli cabinet members that reaching a [ceasefire] deal now would be a slap in Trump’s face that would benefit Biden politically, according to comments reported in Israeli media outlets Channel 13 and The Times of Israel.

Couldn't be more clear who Israel is influencing the US elections for. However Netanyahu wouldn't make a deal anyway.

Biden is a fool to let Netanyahu come speak to US congress next Wednesday

https://www.washingtonpost.com/opinions/2024/06/14/israel-netanyahu-congress-speech-gaza-democrats/

With that speech, now scheduled for July 24, Congress is giving Netanyahu a platform to interfere in U.S. politics, as he has done before.

The talk among high-level Democratic strategists and donors has now turned to who is best positioned to serve has Harris's running mate, and the short list has boiled down to Sen. Mark Kelly (D-Ariz.), Kentucky Gov. Andy Beshear and North Carolina Gov. Roy Cooper.

California Gov. Gavin Newsom and Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer have communicated to senior party leaders that they would not be interested in serving as Harris's running mate, according to a person familiar with the candidates in the mix to join Harris atop the ticket.

Joe Biden's future announcement looms, Harris's running mate in focus (thehill.com)

If it's Cooper he won't try to run for president in 2032 at 75, or will he? :)

Maybe going for Beshear is safer in that case.

"Not a Cult"

CNN, ABC trashed the speech, even fucking Van Jones called it "incoherent, a big mess, he couldn't help himself"

"They made a mistake selling a transformation. There was no transformation. This is Donald Trump"

How the fuck did anyone in the media fall for this shit that Trump would be changed by his eat getting clipped.

#Rambling was trending on Twitter, Lol.

If only Democrats weren't a mess right now, hurry up, move to Harris and unite for the DNC.

Mike Johnson already making threats for next Wednesday

US House Speaker says disruption of Netanyahu speech could lead to arrest

US House Speaker Mike Johnson has said that anyone who attempts to disrupt a speech set to be given by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to a joint session of Congress on July 24 could be arrested.

“There are a number of Democrats in the House who have said they’re going to boycott that event. Some others may protest,” Johnson said at a Republican Jewish Coalition event on the sidelines of the Republican National Convention being held in Wisconsin this week.

“We’re going to have extra sergeants at arms on the floor. If anybody gets out of hand… We’re going to arrest people if we have to do it,” he said.

High-profile Democratic lawmakers, including Elizabeth Warren and Bernie Sanders, have signalled their intention to boycott Netanyahu’s controversial address over Israel’s war on Gaza.

I am going to give you a hint.  No matter who becomes president its not going to be a favorable outcome.

Oh I'm well aware.

It's a choice between a slower genocide and a faster one including annexation of the West Bank.
Between a slightly hesitant puppet and one that idolizes the puppet master.

It's up to Europe and the Global South to step up as Netanyahu and Aipac have the USA by their rapidly shrinking balls.

The USA doesn't care about international law. The US still hasn't paid reparations to Nicuragua as ordered by the ICJ in 1986 instead the USA withdrew from the ICJ in 1985 when they saw an unfavorable outcome coming. And again or rather further under Trump "The Trump administration on Wednesday pulled out of two international agreements after Iran and the Palestinians complained to the International Court of Justice about U.S. policies, the latest withdrawal by Washington from multilateral accords."

And yes Harris is just a slightly more hesitant puppet than Biden.

Maybe Trump in office will quicken the demise of the US as a disruptive world power and healing can start a bit sooner.

You can keep hope alive but it takes way more than just the President to demise the US.  People continue to forget that the President only represent 1/3 of the federal government and even still his powers are well defined and limited.  Even his EO orders can be contested in court, and most are even hard to implement or find funding in certain situations.  So no, one president isn't going to be much impact outside of the 4 years of their term.  No matter what, what is happening in the west bank will remain their issues unless they can get support from way more countries that can impact Isarael outside of the US.

The US has never cared about International law unless they are enforcing it.  Neither Biden or Harris are puppets, its just not an issue the US as a whole cares enough about to be something political motivated outside of the current status.
