U.S. Detected Iranian Plot to Kill Trump Separate From Last Weekend’s Shooting - The New York Times

Imagine being Iran.

Spending thousands of $ to pay someone to do this and keep it secret, the months worth of planning, then seeing some random 20 year old with an AR-15 he casually and easily acquired almost doing what Iran couldn't on the roof of some random ass building, evading all Secret Service, a kid who, based on some descriptions of him, had almost zero skill.

5th? Poll with either no change or an insignificant change (1%). I think Trump has hit his ceiling Tbh and nobody outside his base gives a shit while Biden is hugely struggling to bring back enthusiasm to vote for him.

Question begs... If Joe Biden was in control of the legal system, wouldn't he have supported his Son who is going through his own legal woes?

IIRC Hunter was charged with something which basically nobody gets charged with on its own and it's only usually charged as part of a larger charge to rack the jailtime up, I expect Hunter will essentially get a slap on the wrist for that reason, he technically broke the law but it's a law that the law tends to not give a shit about on its own and thousands of Americans are breaking it, Lol.

So there's really zero reason for Biden to even get involved, he shouldn't and won't.

Iran has for years considered a plan to get back at Trump for his killing of top Iranian general Qassem Soleimani in 2020. But the officials said the intelligence has ratcheted up in recent months and officials have become more confident in Tehran's intentions. They also said there may be more attempts on Trump's life in the coming weeks.

Lol.

California and New York are too expensive, and they are too expensive because more people want to live there than can fit.  Even if both states lose millions of people there isn't enough property to lower the costs significantly.  When a 2 million dollar home near San Francisco is the equivalent of a $400,000 house in the midwest it make sense to leave California if you can work remotely.  California's weather is near perfect year round, assuming you don't enjoy the snow of the north.  Florida and Texas are cheaper but both are hell in the summer weather wise when you get month after month of 90 + degrees and humidity.

Probably, he could have influenced the courts in some way.

Biden, however, wouldn't do that. Whatever else you can say about him, he has far too much respect for the rules and procedures he has lived by his whole life. And Trump and his caucus count on the fact that Biden will play by rules and decorum while Trump openly defies any attempt to bring him under the authority of the government. Biden has made it clear that he and Jill love Hunter, but they understand that he broke the law and they will respect the outcome decided by the court system.

Us politics is interesting because there is no clear policy. Trump says he is not for PRoject 2025 then people say he is. Biden is said to be too old and over and over again. Us politics is so confusing guess I will vote in thirty years for when my generation will be runnign for president at 60 years old.
