Forums - Microsoft Discussion - Best Buy: Buy a 360 and GTAIV and get a $50 gift card

I guess they figure the $349.99 XBOX 360 + $99.99 for the essential online ( I wont even talk the about other fees required) = $450.00

The PS3 (yet again not talking about features) = $400.00

So they give a $50 discount to the 360.... makes sense to me.

If my console RROD'd on me without warranty, I might do it. (If i lived in Canada)

Wireless adapter is not essential for online. Its for fancy boys who don't want to deal with wires... I love the 360 approach, as it offers choice. If PS3 offered bluray-less, card reader-less, wireless-less system, and hard drive less (buy my own hard drive) which ran on old shcool DL DVD's and still played the same games under 250 bucks...I'd buy it in a snap.

Not everyone sees wireless as an essential add-on.  I have a few 360's in my house and none of them are running on a wireless connection (All wired).  And even if I did I would want the wireless to be the N spec not B or G...
