@Spade Just remembered that Microsoft's Quarterly Report is this week, so that will be the L

Gaming will 100% be down, maybe even more than expectations.

I'm sure people will doom Xbox for that.

Stop the negativity Pony boy

But yeah, it's report time, always a pleasure to see new figures

If you added ABK's fiscal year revenue to Gaming then you'd get.

  • 2018 - $17.9bn.
  • 2019 - $17.8bn.
  • 2020 - $19.6bn.
  • 2021 - $24.2bn.
  • 2022 - $23.7bn.

FY21 was the only time they would have beat Windows, I think they could exceed Windows in FY24 though as that will include Starfield, Forza Motorsport, Activision + Blizzard + King, New Call of Duty, etc. Maybe then will Microsoft tell the Windows team to bugger off and let Xbox create their own storefront without their involvement in it. I honestly just want to see Gaming above Windows, due to the history of the Windows team screwing the Xbox team, Lol.

If the deal is approved.

Crazy to think that once ABK closes Gaming will probably become Microsoft’s 3rd largest segment. It has way more growth potential than Windows anyway.

I think once Microsoft has that much corporate skin in the game they will be forced to invest even more into the segment

It is also a big week for Big Tech with quarterly results from Amazon.com, Alphabet, Meta and Microsoft. The latter will also have an eye on the UK, where on Wednesday the Competition and Markets Authority is due to finally rule on whether to block the technology company's $69bn takeover of games maker Activision Blizzard, although this is likely to prove a damp squib as the CMA is expected to support it.

Financial Times thinks the deal will be approved.

Very reliable British newspaper.

So close now my fellow Xbots, so close to never having to hear about this ever again (except …. Being told everyday for the next decade how Jim Ryan beat MS or some shit) …

Currently playing Rime, really liked this one when it launched, it’s kinda a shame it doesn’t run that great and it’s achievements are so Damon glitchy :L

Also decided to update my indie rig I built a few years ago for those AA games that decide to skip Xbox (looking at you in disgust Oxenfree 2) upgrading from a R52400G to a R54600G amongst a few other few things in it.

Ride The Chariot || Games Complete ‘24 Edition

Kingdom Hearts Diary Day 21: BIG UPDATE.

Finished Birth By Noble. Probably the second worse in the series. Combat had potential, but gets very cluttered and cumbersome. Story still an unknown tbh as well.

Would be nice to play a game here that didn't look like it came out from the PS2 era... oh wait.

I'd rank: KH 2 > KH 1 > BBS > CoM

4/8 Completed... More to come.

Edit: I can't tell you the satisfaction I just got from unistalling this f*cking game. HUGUHGHUGUHGHUUGHUHGUHGUHGHUGHHUGUHGHHGUGUHGUHGUGH

It's not getting rejected at this point. So the most interesting news I'm expecting is potentially info on remedies we don't know about.
