So, finally got the special screwdriver I needed to take my Series X controller apart. Turns out it wasn't a spring that had popped loose, but rather the long piece of plastic that attaches to the underside of the plastic Right bumper and pushes the inner actuator was snapped and had fallen off to the side, preventing the inner actuator from being pressed no matter how much I pushed the right bumper. I tried to super glue the broken plastic piece, but it broke off immediately again when I reattached the bumper assembly to the console after a night of drying, so then I got the idea to wedge some lens wipe cloth in above the broken piece and beside the broken piece to keep it from falling over. Put the controller back together and the right bumper works fine now, but now the controller won't detect batteries and only works when wired, smh.

You win some, you lose them lol. At least you're actually able to play!

@shikamaru317 looks like you can get a deal on a new controller if you so desire!

Has anyone played Tales of Arise? Once I'm done with P5R, looking to try out another JRPG famed JRPG series. Bandai Namco is having a huge sale. Scarlet Nexus is also on a huge sale, but I've heard more middling things about that title.

Lol fake hater reviews are active as hell on Pentiment Metacritics right now. But the facts there's basically no mixed reviews is pretty telling on the fact that it is well loved by real users.

Next time... just @Me pimp

100% recommend Tales of Arise. Great intro to the series to start off. Both are actually quite solid. And I thought Scarlet was on Gamepass.

Their move to UE 5 has the game looking stunning. Very fun and addictive combat. Characters are well written, I wasn't a huge fan of the story, but it's serviceable for most of the game. I think their next tales game is going to be even better. They have the engine now which they will milk for years, so now they can focus more on the finer details and story.

Overall I'd rank it as my 3rd fave Tales game.

Vesperia > Berseria > Arise > Xillia > Abyss > Xillia 2 > Zestiria > Graces F

Already have Symphonia on pre order! Didn't give it a fair shake on PS3... literally saw the 2D-ness of it and rage quit. Probably played for 10 minutes.

Lol yeah metacritic user reviews are a complete joke.

Currently on Steam at least, only 166 reviews, but sitting at a 95%
