So Season 3 is.

  • 3 Maps.
  • New Community Playlist Maps Rotated.
  • Plaza Remake.

In 3 months.

That's a nice amount of content, I wonder if they'll do a remake per season.

Rotating Community maps will keep things fresh too, especially with XP in them.

2023 will be awesome for Halo Infinite.

Now if Pierre goes and saves not one but two Halo titles, Lol. Give that man an extra raise.

Well it is going to be 4 months....It is from 7 march till the 27th of june that's like 3 months and 20 days but would make sense that it takes another week or two later to start with season 4.

God damn Series S piece of shit. Time to round those systems up and toss em in a bonfire

Again, Series S beats the minimum specs on PC easily (which also has split screen). It could be a RAM issue though since Series S has about the same amount of RAM available to developers as the minimum recommended specs. People need to chill out though, we've got 6 months of optimisation to go, either Larian will fix it or Microsoft will send their peeps to help.

Larian was probably pushed to announce early and now have to deal with this PR drama, Lol. Which'll be funny looking back on it if it releases the exact same time as PS5 with split screen on both consoles.

Yall should be thanking the Series S for what the Xbox has now in terms of sales

We've run into some technical issues in developing the Xbox port that have stopped us feeling 100% confident in announcing it until we're certain we've found the right solutions – specifically, we've been unable to get split-screen co-op to work to the same standard on both Xbox Series X and S, which is a requirement for us to ship.

Okay, Series S is the issue it seems

But I'm a bit confused why they're trying to get Series S to the same standard as Series X? Series S is weaker...You aren't going to get them to the same standard. PC has split screen as well but the Minimum specs are lower than Series S...How will PC run at the same standard across all Specs if Series S/X can't? I'm assuming it won't, so make some compromises on Series S.

If PC doesn't have split screen anymore (even though it was confirmed) then remove split screen from Series S. If Xbox is requiring them then they shouldn't. Though having said all of this, there are still 6 months left and a massive amount of development happens in the tail end of development so I wouldn't be surprised if we all freak out over nothing and it all works out in the end. We'll have to wait and see.

Agreed. They need to either be willing to accept a lower framerate on splitscreen on Series S, or be willing to delay splitscreen on Series S entirely and save it for a post-launch patch. Foolish to delay the game on both S and X over splitscreen issues on S only imo.

Could be a Microsoft requirement in which case they should probably drop said requirement in specific cases.

But if they can get it working on those minimum specs for PC, I see absolutely zero reason they can't get it working for Series S.

Maybe they haven't been developing on Xbox for that long, PC has been in early access for years.

Was doing a bit of research on Baldur's Gate 3, and hot damn, the monk class sounds awesome as heck, especially the Elemental Monk sub-class, reads like you are a bender from Avatar except you can bend all 4 elements, coupled with very powerful unarmed combat including the ability to make 2 attack throws every time you attack. Definitely going to play Elemental Monk when I do play the game.

I miss these sorts of deep, detailed RPG's with D20 rolls in the AAA space, even KOTOR remake is reportedly dropping D20 in favor of action RPG combat.
