I'm throwing in Stellar Blade and Marvel Tokon as other most likely candidates.

I could see those two but I would see them more as Death Stranding situations as Sony doesn't own the IP or studio making them, I don't see why anyone should be upset about either of those two coming to Xbox, I kind of already expect them to eventually? Like Death Stranding came to Xbox despite being published by Sony and I'm 100% expecting Death Stranding 2 to come to Xbox as well. I think Stellar Blade just comes down to if the developer wants to bring it to Xbox and Marvel Tokon is probably timed exclusive.

That's true. We'll have to wait and see what the definition of Sony games is as they have quite a few titles they published, but don't own.

Since they're bringing their own IPs to other consoles now, it would be safe to assume that they will therefore become more relaxed on any timed exclusive agreements they have too, with games where they don't own the IP or the studio, I mean it wouldn't really make much sense to still be strict with timed exclusives that you don't own and pay to exclude other consoles but at the same time bring IP that you own, or games from your studios, to other consoles, Lol. So I think naturally we'll see less timed exclusives from Sony and/or less strict.

So I just started Sonic the Fighters (X360) on my Series X.

Interesting concept - a Sonic game that is based on Virtua Fighter style gameplay supposedly? At least from what I heard, never played a VF game so cant say much

But the gameplay is....awkward as hell.

I unlocked all achievements so pretty easy game in regards to that.

There's 8 characters with 1 secret character - halfway done since I play all characters in a fighting game lol.

VF is one of the best fighting series around but Sonic the Fighters is a novelty at best. It was never that great. Go play VF5. Any version of it. Then you should understand. Also get where Tekken was born from VF.

VF5 is on sale for steam - so I just bought it, will play in future.

I've played Tekken 1, 2, 5, Dark Resurrection, 6, Tag 2 and 7 so far - its one of my favorite fighting game series (alongside Street Fighter and Blazblue).

Yeah Nightdive has already confirmed their next remaster will be announced at Quakecon. I'm personally hoping for Hexen/Heretic collection. Now that Activision is acquired, it would be the perfect time to bring back the games id Software were able to make happen. Would love a Quake 3 Arena remaster, but we kinda have that already with Quake Live. Would not be upset at all if it was Quake 3 though!

Was hoping to be able to go to see the announcement in person, but my boss will be out all next week, and it's just the 2 of us in our department lol. So in-person attendance for me. At least until Saturday depending on what they have planned.
