Format sounds great, I also really like the branding aside from the name.

- I'm excited for Xbox Directs to become a regular thing.

- "To dedicate the proper amount of time for a deep dive into Bethesda Game Studios' Starfield, a standalone show is in the works."

Glad that they acknowledged it but I'm a bit disappointed that it doesn't have a timeframe, it definitely isn't making me any less convinced that Starfield is delayed. Hopefully they end this Developer Direct by revealing the date of the Starfield one.

- Presented by the game creators themselves from studios including Arkane Austin, Mojang Studios, Turn 10 Studios, and ZeniMax Online Studios, the Developer_Direct will focus on big features, extended gameplay showcases, and the latest info for Xbox games launching in the next few months, including The Elder Scrolls Online, Forza Motorsport, Minecraft Legends, and Redfall.

"Next few months" So I was wrong and Forza Motorsport isn't delayed! So Feb - May should be Minecraft Legends, Forza Motorsport and Redfall.

I do wonder if it's only focused on those 4 titles...

Looking forward to the show!

Most likely will get the 2nd wave of GP announcements for the month as well

Could just be referring to the 1st parties Tbh, Lol.

Idk, I'm not 100% convinced yet, I think they'd be more clear and mention "Game Pass announcements" or "new reveals" if Hi-Fi Rush was actually being revealed here. Deep dives into gameplay might mean it's pretty long per game. For now I'm going into it with the expectation that it is just those 4 titles.

Counterpoint to Starfield's delay argument (yeah I'm countering myself) is that if Starfield was delayed would there really be any point in doing a deep dive instead of just waiting until E3 and then doing the deep dive after E3. Maybe if they keep to the "next few months" timing and Starfield's deep dive is Feb-March it may release in June.

Technically Redfall is outside of "next few months" but by a week at most, Lol. Would like if these Directs are all focused on the "next few months" and now I pray that they put a bullet in the ID@Xbox/Twitch thing and instead do a ID@Xbox Developer_Direct with how many dang indies are coming to Game Pass.

Looks like it's 45 minutes long.

That would give about 10-12 minutes per game.

Did they change the name of their showcase ?

No. Developer_Direct will be the official name of the showcase as previously reported.

No but that's basically the Xbox showcase, right ? But with a new name

Glad to see it get officially announced. GP gonna bring the thunder.

Right. This showcase will be to put release dates on Xbox first-party games that are known to release in the first half of this year. So this isn't going to be an E3 level showcase. Maybe a surprise or two.

No Starfield either. That's getting its own individual showcase at a later date.

Sounds about right for "extended gameplay" deep dives, I think Motorsport and Redfall will be pretty lengthy, Redfall likely the longest. If there are other things they'll only be a few but for now I would expect only those 4 titles.

I’m most excited to see it get overwhelmingly voted a 1/10 on the inevitable poll :P
