Not in the games with gold section, but the other weekly sales.  Grabbing the physical instead.

...to avoid getting banned for inactivity, I may have to resort to comments that are of a lower overall quality and or beneath my moral standards.

Okay...Maybe they're waiting for the January event.

Microsoft's communication has been pretty poor so far this year, they teased a Game Pass blog post only to announce what we already knew about and ended it with a vague "we'll be back soon" but they can't say when or if it will be the Xbox event because they haven't announced that yet. Greenberg teasing this to be a fun week will backfire if it keeps at this pace and then they have to deal with communicating that Starfield might not be at the event but will show up later which I anticipate they will screw up as well, Lol.

Still a strong drop for January but it's just poor communication is all.

Xbox PR is truly unbelievable bad. No idea how one of the biggest companies of the planet has worse marketing as your local Pizza delivery service. And that since more than a decade...

The show might actually be called “Xbox & Bethesda Developer_Direct”. Anyway. Guess we’ll found out soon enough :)

Calling it "Xbox & Bethesda" but not showing Starfield 🥲

Lol Jk. They aren't going to call it Xbox & Zenimax but still, I think people will see "Bethesda" and not take it as "Bethesda the Publisher" but "Bethesda the Developer" and expect Starfield as a result of the name.

I think someone else said it but the name does suggest a focus on Xbox/Bethesda 1st party so would we really see Game Pass drops at the event? Hurry up and announce this dang thing, Xbox.

I'd be disappointed in Xbox if they don't advertise their indie Game Pass drops though, they have a ton for early 2023 and they deserve to be marketed properly, or at the very least give them their own "Developer Direct" like Nintendo does for indies, something like "ID@Xbox Developer Direct"

  • Xbox & Bethesda: Developer Direct.
  • Starfield: Developer Direct.
  • ID@Xbox: Developer Direct.

This would be nice.

Dump the Twitch stuff and do "Developer Directs" for their ID@Xbox. It should all be under one branding, u'know, like Nintendo Directs. Unless they will have indies in the Xbox & Bethesda: Developer Direct.

We'll find out soon...

I find this quite fascinating as well, cus obviously they'll be paying a lot of people an awful lot of money to get this stuff right...but they pretty much always seem to get it wrong.
