How Oblivion > Expedition 33 > Doom The Dark Ages feels.

I'm excited to start Expedition 33 but I'm loving every second of Oblivion Remaster and don't want to rush it, once I'm done with Oblivion Remaster it's straight into Expedition 33 and then once I'm done with Expedition 33 it will be straight into Doom The Dark Ages. This will be the best few weeks of gaming I've ever done, Lol.

My Fithragaer, the one who is famous for running directly into the spike trap, actually survived and immediately ran across it before it even pushed him to the top of the spiked ceiling, only to immediately be one hit killed by a ghost, Lmao.

When I wanted to play Oblivion today it said there's an 1.6 GB update. Clicked on update and turns out it's downloading 116 GB of stuff. Basically the whole game.
What the hell?

I got that update and it was only 1.6 GB for me.

Also got the update but now I am hit with the infinite loading glitch and have to save in every dungeon's exit (happened twice in an hour).

Oblivion Mages Guild Spoilers

Spoiler!

The Fighters Guild next door as the Mages Guild is being slaughtered by Mannimarco.

I do wish they added a questline as DLC to rebuild Kvatch, even back in the days of playing original Oblivion it bothered me to just have the permanent destroyed city sitting there, constantly on fire, and missing out on a major city, plus it would have been cool to see it rebuild itself overtime via quests and simple in-game time, it's a shame you help retake it and it doesn't lead anywhere.

Honestly with how successful it has already been, why not bring new DLC to Oblivion Remaster? I don't see the harm in it, especially considering Elder Scrolls VI is years away. Let Virtuous make some new content for Oblivion Remaster and if they do a good enough job then bring them onboard Elder Scrolls VI as well to make original content there too.

In less than 5 days Oblivion Remastered reaches over 100k players on TA (Avowed actually took 5 days too, post launch - but with 5 days early access)

It will most likely pass Avowed and become the most played game in another day or two. Avowed currently sits at 158k

Not to take away anything away from Avowed, being a new IP. Still impressive for a remaster nontheless. Fallout 3 next?

Do you think they will add creation club into Oblivion? Hope the game gets some quality of life updates (like when you cleared a location).

No official Mod support is confirmed but maybe they change their mind depending on success but it would be something different to Creation Club since that was made and linked with Creation Engine, the Creation Kit for example wouldn't work on Oblivion Remaster so I imagine they'd have to build something from scratch, even so there's already dozens of Mods for it on PC so I don't imagine it will be that hard.

I think it'll maybe come down to the demand for it on consoles and the success of the product. You'd think they'd do it though considering Fallout 3 will be next, also on Gamebryo, two Bethesda games without official mod support feels wrong.
