Avowed was made for me.
I'll check in later.

Took a small break from Avowed to check out Like A Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii and all I can say is........I get it now!
You called down the thunder, now reap the whirlwind
I am not sure yet but I think I will take a long break from Avowed +24 hours in the game and I just don't find any enjoyment anymore.

Yeah they are aiming on less AAA third party games and more first party and I don't mind, it kind of makes sense if you lost a billion a year on it...

I don't think a single soul would ever have an issue of them focusing on 1st party, you don't need AAA games to add more to the service.
Is that Billion a loss if it generated more? Kinda a moot point regardless, they are charging more yet more than double the games are leaving the service than entering. As a customer, that kinda sucks. I would like them to do better, especially with that new revenue stream from going multiplatform
shout out g2 for showing, I like the artsyle this game kinda screams co-op to me but afaik it's a single player game

Sorry for the late reply....just got back from my Dubai/India trip , been out for almost an entire month lol
Wishlisted even though I have it on Xbox and I have it wishlisted on Steam too.
I'm guessing the game is gonna last a bit more license wise since its being released on PS5.
Spent a few hours in avowed and all I could think about was playing KCD 2 so I went back to it lol.
This site fucking sucks sometimes, I'm just going to post all the news I saw while it was down in this post instead of spamming 20 posts in a row, because I hate making more than 3 posts in a row and I don't want to sit waiting for hours for someone else to actually make a post to break up my spam, I'll comment on a few pieces of news in the next post, Lol.
BTW I'm 99% sure this footage they shown is what Jez Corden spoke about seeing 3 months ago, Lmao.
18th November, 2024: “I very recently saw some alpha gameplay footage from Fable. I have no idea when it was from. I don’t know if it was earlier in development. I don’t know if it was recent, if it’s something they’re going to show off soon but it looked fucking fantastic man.
You can tell that this game has CD Project Red DNA. So the developers Playground Games, they picked up a bunch of developers from CD Project Red and I believe they picked up the combat designer. And you can kind of tell. And I’m not saying it’s 100% one to one with Witcher because it’s not. But you can kind of tell that melee combat, the sort of pirouettes and dodging and the dodge rolling and the seamless hack and slash into an execution which looks really really cool - all that stuff is there. It looks super polished, it looks super good. And if this was early gameplay then it probably looks even better now from what I was shown.
I also saw some enemies. I saw like a giant chicken for example, cock of trees kind of thing. But it actually just looked like a chicken, that sort of comedic angle but also not. It looked like a dangerous fucking scary chicken dude. And also I saw a werewolf, there’s a scene where they lure a werewolf with bacon and eggs and sausages in a saucepan. They basically cook a werewolf a full English breakfast to lure it out is lair, is kind of the impression that I got there.
It looked really great man. Combat looked really tight. I also saw a variety of weapons. I saw a big mallet thing which was being used to swing around, hit multiple enemies at once. It looked super good, super tight. And my hype level went up a lot from seeing that stuff.
