Seeing both Indy and Stalker 2 is great to see!

Having good fun with Suicide Squad.
Combat isn't that engaging but also not terrible and not overused as I expected. Story is definitely entertaining and the characters and dialogue is great!

Also the often criticized Batman scene is kinda taken out of context and fits pretty well with the rest of the game.

High 7 or low 8 thus far (well I'm almost done with it so probably no change)

So far, I have some minor gripes with Lords of Shadows 2, but after finishing chapter 3, the hate seems unwarranted. In many ways, it reminds me of Darksiders. I will say yeah this doesn't feel like a Castlevania game and maybe that is where the disdain comes from. I love the first Lords of Shadow as it reminded me of Castlevania IV aka the best in the franchise. Proper linear gothic horror atmospheric Castlevania. LoS2 is not LoS1 but on its own in a vacuum, it reminds me of Darksiders and that's ok with me.

BF1 Revolution + All DLC shows up as Free (ends in 16 hours)

feels like Microsoft has finally hit a good cadence with Xbox Game Pass releases, especially with recent drops like Indiana Jones and what's ahead in 2025. Avowed, South of Midnight, Doom, Towerborne, Fable, Outer Worlds 2, and more are coming next year. I'm also expecting an Xbox event in January 👍

Jez says that they'll maybe be no Xbox event in January and it'll be pushed to February, Tom says they'll be an Xbox event in January, Lol. Anyway, it seems like both Tom and Nate have heard nothing about a Fable delay either, both claim that it's still on track for 2025, as for the "and more" I am betting that is Oblivion Remaster and Double Fine's New IP at least.

Finished Indiana Jones and the Great Circle with one achievement left, now to mop those two up and I think that'll be it for new games that I play this year, I may just mop up a few more achievements in Black Ops 6 and finish Shattered Space for the rest of the year, then watch some TV Shows, I might start Stalker 2 sometimes in the new year, also Indiana Jones has put me at 200,000 GS!

Indiana Jones is my GOTY, I loved it, the level design was great, it had plenty of funny moments, I loved the more "adventure" aspect of it though the combat is still fun and I still ran around beating the shit out of Nazis, nobody does beating Nazis up better than MachineGames! I liked the puzzles, they weren't too easy or too hard, the characters were great, Gina was a brilliant companion, Voss was a bastard villain and also it was one of Tony Todd's last acting roles which hit me in the feels. Story was great and it was a really meaty campaign.

Can't believe it's been 5 years already lol. Teasing some new announcements soon. Pretty sure a PS5 release is included since that was leaked like a month ago.

Having a few notes left to collect and not knowing where the fuck they are because they don't appear on the map is a little annoying...

Bruh...

100% on Indiana Jones.

But the last note in the Vatican, I couldn't find it anywhere, I was searching above ground, all the dungeons, it wouldn't show up on the map, I was wondering if I missed a dungeon, I checked and rechecked every dungeon (because dungeon maps show notes separately to the above ground maps), still no luck, so I cleared the other locations instead and after I cleared the other areas, I found a checklist of all the notes in the Vatican, had to go through every single one I had and cross-check it with this list, removing the ones I had already found until I was left with one left...

...

It was on the dead body of a soldier I killed like less than ~10 hours into the game in the fucking cellar, thankfully still laying there after over 40 hours of playtime, holding my note, Lmao. That's why it wasn't appearing on the map because the ones on bodies don't appear on the map, thankfully there's only a few soldiers who carry notes for the achievement but JFC...When I went in there and finally found the note on his cold dead body, I just laughed, I was searching for that bastard for at least 30 minutes straight running all around the Vatican, Lol.
