Obsidian really is insanely efficient.

Xbox Studios 2025 schedule is seriously looking insane at this point.

Yeah, I'm not posting much the last 10 years or so on this forum but I still read everything in this thread and it's like 90 out of 100 posts are to complain about Xbox. I also don't like how Xbox moved pretty much to a multiplatform developer including Playstation and if it's just for the fact what kind of assholes Playstation was towards Xbox (and still is). Playstation does everything to destroy Xbox and Xbox is like "nice, we help you to get even more dominant as thank you" but it's like it is.
But their games library looks great to me. Indiana just got a 87 Metascore...It's just that you don't need an Xbox console anymore but since Microsoft doesn't seem to care about killing their consoles it just doesn't make sense to complain again and again because it is their strategy now. Accept it and still play on Xbox or move on. It's really not that hard. I know video games are a very important hobby for many but if Xbox releases their games only on Xbox or also on Playstation doesn't change much to be honest. Maybe MS will fail with it and end as game only developer without any hardware but that won't hurt anyone either. We don't need to feel sorry for one of the biggest companies on the planet.

Ella is the true winner, she would have won whether it was Arcane or Fallout.
Nick from XboxEra says that Xbox has 3 unannounced games still for 2025 that he knows of.
Fairly 50/50 insider though so take it with a grain of salt but I sort of believe it even without him saying it, I feel like there's a bunch of stuff that could be 2025 like Contraband, Double Fine New IP, Project Mara, OD. Maybe State of Decay 3 or Gears of War, Forza Horizon 6, a Minecraft Spinoff, a World's Edge title, Project Shaolin, Oblivion Remaster, etc. I'm obviously not saying they're all scheduled for 2025 but I feel like many of them can have arguments made for 2025 which could easily add up to 3. Though he says unannounced so it probably rules out Contraband, Mara, OD, SoD3, Gears of War but even removing those you're left with (Imo) 6 titles at a minimum that could have an argument for 2025.
Last edited by Ryuu96 - 3 days agoAll I know and care about is that Xbox's first party studios are FINALLY firing on all cylinders. Yes, it's annoying that Xbox's multiplat decisions are all over the place. We've seen new IPs go multiplat or remain exclusive, we've seen previously multiplat franchises either remain multiplat or be Xbox console exclusive. None of it makes sense.
But no one can tell me that they're looking at Xbox's release schedule and with a straight face say "Xbox has no games" they've got an insane number of games releasing in 2025 and onward to the point they've finally reached the 1 AAA per quarter cadence.
