Just checked my 2024 year in review. It is pretty sad. Total of 52 hours as I completely dropped playing on my Xbox since the multiplatform strategy was announced. I also think they take their console players for granted and have too much focus on ensuring growth on PC and other devices, but okay. Busiest month was January for me. Last game I bought on Xbox was Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth. No reason to go back unless Fable or Gears remain exclusive. Gamepass isn't worth it for me anymore and I gladly wait a few months for Indiana Jones.

Xbox ends this year with a bang, yet Indiana Jones and the Great Circle is really only the continuation of several great Xbox first-party releases this year, recently in particular with Call of Duty: Black Ops 6, and that trend continues early in 2025 and beyond.

Exta said South of Midnight is releasing in March but he has been pretty meh lately for leaks outside of Game Pass stuff.

But then Klob said this image is the "tentative" release order over on ResetEra.

Avowed in Feb and SoM in March would be awesome, but I was kind of expecting SoM in around April as well. Doom in May (I hope) because Doom for the past two entries has released in the first half of the year, Doom 2016 in May and Doom Eternal in March.

I know there’s been a lot of doom and gloom around Xbox in 2024, but some of the platform work they’re doing for 2025 and beyond is genuinely exciting

yeah I agree the communication hasn’t been great. I just don’t think they’ve been quite ready to layout the future just yet. I get the feeling that we’ll see some hints soon

Decided to start Indiana Jones when it actually releases because I got hooked on Silo instead

Sony will do the same in the future to watch exclusives are a dying breed should get used to it I sold my ps5 as the switch and series x are just better
