With all these new Xboxes, the front page Xbox numbers are off by about a billion.

I think MS’s goal of making this new marketing campaign a meme is working

You called down the thunder, now reap the whirlwind

I wonder if anyone here's good at Photoshopping shit. Whoever's willing to give my Star Wolf a "This is an Xbox" tattoo I'll wear it.

Not the greatest quality because I was working with low res assets for both the character and the background, but something I quickly threw together.

Not too shabby, I must say.

Good for who? I am curious, good for stockholders? MS? Certainly not good for any consumer... They repeated over and over again 'games will be day one on gamepass', then they choose to increase the price and only let the highest tier get day one games....It made people annoyed and in the eyes from many gamepass became a bit expensive and now they add the early editions......Those early editions aren't good for consumers or Ultimate gamepass owners... It started with 2 days now with avowed it is 5 days.....they are increasing the duration |
Paying more to play "early" is an industry standard for many publishers now. You once again complain about MS which isn't a MS thing.
I also don't like this but yeah, complain about the industry and not MS alone.
It's also pretty normal to see increasing prices. Have you seen Netflix, Amazon Prime or how expensive your eggs in the supermarket are nowadays?
So yes, none of that is nice but it's also nothing you have to isolate MS with your criticism.
That's Just how it works. Reduce your staff, reduce your costs as much as possible and squeeze as much as possible out of your customer. Your investors don't accept anything else nowadays.

Well MS was one of the ones who did it early not sure if Sony or Nintendo do it with their games.
Like you said it is not nice and the meme should be 'This is not DAY 1 on gamepass with Indy/Avowed special editions posted under it'
It is a false narrative to say that the day a game's releasedate is not day 1 but 'early'.

I received my physical copy of Dragon Quest on Series X, the cover is beautiful.
