I wish Gundam Breaker 4 was coming to Series X. Getting it on PS5. I Just want more good SP mecha games on Series X. So far my X is mostly a TPS machine from Gears to VanQuish Binary Domain. Soon Space Marine II but I hope we see console footage soon. Worried will be a bad port.

Finished Dungeons of Hinterberg.

Developer told me at the end to spread the word if I enjoyed playing it 🫡

Seriously though, it was good, a charming smaller title, low-key relaxing and it's on Game Pass, worth checking it out, easy to 100% as well because the developer is a boss who said "achievements should never be grindy" and has a refreshing attitude on achievements. "It’s much better to ask the player to do something interesting once, than to have them do something mundane many times.”

“We believe that achievements shouldn’t rely on the player having to replay the game over and over — even if it’s very hard, the player should at least in theory be able to unlock every achievement in a single playthrough,” “So achievements can’t be mutually exclusive — for example, there shouldn’t be an achievement for completing Dungeons of Hinterberg in 25 days if there are other achievements that will require the player to stay for longer than that,”

The Coalition take notes.

Looking forward to my return to Starfield but also remembering how much Sarah Morgan annoyed me at the end with her completely dismissive attitude at my choice, Lmao. I'm taking Andreja and Adoring Fan with me to Shattered Space.

I wonder how third party support for Xbox will look like in some years when MS doesn't seem to care to tell everyone that a PS/Switch2 will also get even big Xbox games so that PS/Switch2 will get a much bigger library of quality games as Xbox itself.

I mean, right now MS is like "we have more players than ever" and seems happy even with low console sales but how should this look in the future? Will third party game even release on a next Xbox if it will sell even less as this gen? How low can your sales be to still get the support of most devs? Xbox consoles sales are already "dead" in many countries and that's mostly because MS never even tried. Low sales means less retailers will sell the consoles and so on...

Not every dev will release their games on Gamepass so that game sales will be essential for them. Right now MS does everything they can to widen the gap between potential PS and Xbox console sales for the next decade.

I personally don't really care anymore if there even will be a next Xbox console but if there will be then there's just no way around trying something completely different because they killed every chance to even reach Xbox Series sales with a next console if it's a "normal" machine.

It really needs to be something which will be able to play third party games even with very low sales numbers or like many already believe some type of handheld but that can also completely fail and isn't a give to succeed.

Its evident that MS is looking to stock GP with their own content more than from others.  The biggest issue is marketshare more than anything else.  How many consoles or hardware do MS need to sell to insure that 3rd party developers continue to support their hardware.  When the next gen arrives we will see how well it sells to understand that question but right now who knows.  Who even knows if their next system will be higher cost or not.  Everything is total speculation because no one really knows what the heck MS future plans are, only that they will release another piece of hardware.

The rumors I've been hearing sound bad. Also been hearing there are no plans to subsidize the console anymore and if they do that I think it's pretty much dead on arrival. It makes sense though if they plan to include the steam store because at that point the 30% goes to Steam and not MS so MS has no reason to subsidize the console anymore.

I'm excited to see what they end up doing one way or the other.

Apparently, the spiritual successor to Paragon released across consoles & PC with little fanfare.  Looks pretty fun too.

So what are your plans for the rest of the year?

Providing they don't turn out shit, here is my likely purchase/play list.

  • Star Wars Outlaws
  • Age of Mythology: Retold
  • Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2
  • Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster
  • Starfield: Shattered Space
  • Dragon Age: The Veilguard
  • Assassin's Creed Shadows
  • S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl
  • Indiana Jones and the Great Circle

May even play Black Ops 6 and Flight Simulator 2024 if I have the time, Lol.

For me:

- Star Wars Outlaws
- Age of Mythology
- Assassin's Creed Shadows
- Dragon Age: The Veilguard (this is the one I'm looking for the most after Indiana Jones; I am in the middle of a new playthrough of Inquisition :D)
- Stalker 2
-Indiana Jones

And then Feb: Civilization 7 and Avowed...

Pretty busy end of year if you ask me :D

For the most part similar to yours with a few differences

  • Age of Mythology: Retold
  • Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2
  • Astro Bot
  • Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster
  • Ara: History Untold
  • Starfield: Shattered Space
  • Silent Hill 2
  • Dragon Age: The Veilguard
  • Mario & Luigi: Brothership
  • S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl
  • Indiana Jones and the Great Circle
  • Marvel vs Capcom Fighting Collection

Ain't no possible way I'll be able to play everything this year though lol. I'm actually probably gonna push a few games back to January/early February just so I can give each game as much attention as possible.
