Is Assassin's Creed Mirage any good? It's on sale and I've been playing Magic: The Gathering AC set lately. Could be cool to play these games again but Valhalla was so exhausting even though I liked it a lot.

I still haven't played it so I couldn't tell you. I'm planning on paying for a single month of Ubisoft+ Premium for $18 just a couple of weeks before AC Shadows releases and powering through AC Mirage, AC Shadows, and Star Wars Outlaws all during that month.

Good on Xbox for being willing to sell the Tango Gameworks trademark and HiFi Rush IP when they knew they had no plans to continue either on their own, instead of greedily holding onto them like past IP such as Quantum Break.

Thrilled for Tango Gameworks, John Johanas and the Hi-Fi Rush IP, now get a Hi-Fi Rush animated show in development.

I'm a bit meh on the publisher though, wish a far better publisher acquired them but at least someone did...

Sawyer in his Q&A on YouTube said a few things.

- He'd be interested in doing another spy game.

- Feargus came up with the idea of Avowed, a year-ish after Deadfire. He was very much burnout, couldn't direct anything, took until Pentiment to get him back into the idea of directing and to recover from burnout which is why he didn't want to direct Avowed.

- He doesn't care about others directing IPs he created, he says it isn't his and never was his, that's his mentality, he doesn't have control over the IP so he takes the stance that it isn't his choice either way, he is willing to give his opinion on how an IP is used but isn't an overprotective parent because it never belonged to him in the first place. He thinks it's the only healthy way to view this stuff.

- He gives a talk about Pillars 3 after BG3 but it's long so it's better to just listen for yourself. (TLDW; BG3 cost a ton of money, the reception to the IPs is different, the gameplay is different, the story is different, he doesn't think he can deliver something that appeals to the BG3 audience. He doesn't think it would make money back, but he'd work on it still if he was given a shit ton of money, Lol).

- Sawyer isn't a a huge fan of romances in RPGs.

- Would consider a Pillars adaptation but it's not his call, however he made them to be games, he doesn't have a desire to see them in other medium, he doesn't mind but he doesn't have any strong desire.

- If Microsoft or Bethesda asked him to do another Fallout he said his response would be "Sure" but it would depend on the boundaries, what he's allowed to do and what he's not allowed to do, what he will be allowed to do this time that he wasn't allowed to do last time, if the constraints are too constraining then it's not appealing. He loves the Fallout IP and thinks there's a ton of stories to be told.

I'd like The Coalition to make a third-person shooter Terminator game. Doesn't have to be a Gear clone. It can be but also doesn't have to be. I know of the DLC5 in5 for MP. But talking about a full SP game.  Gears 4 robots are as close as I will get. Or I can play VanQuish I guess. Aware of the FPS. Just prefer TPS games.
