@Spade got the 2 cheevos that I could for sure get on my second playthrough. Still stuck on 76% for forums and 74% for the cards, even though I already have all the cards. Squanch support emailed me saying the issue has been fixed and just need to install the latest update......which would be great if the update was only for the Steam version probably gonna have to wait till Monday.

nice! mine is still stuck at 68%. Very annoying. and damn wtf. Papa Phil be paying for GP day one, xbox should be priority.

Maybe more on the Xbox IP in 2023.

Willing to bet this ends up like Scalebound

Kojima using MS money to fund DS 2.

Xbox sure does lead the competition in rumoured/planned IPs and projects that get speculation for years and go absolutely nowhere.

Like what?

I mean there are rumors (for instance that Hideo game (not really a rumor actually cause it is confirmed). But other than that games are in dev... Takes times; how is that different from any other games out there?

I do not think they have more rumoured games that any others...

And the planned games are going to come out; just takes time to develop; but again, nothing different than any other out there.

Xbox is by far the leakiest major publisher Tbf.

It's absolutely ridiculous how much shit leaks out of Xbox.

Take something like Fable, it leaked literally the moment it entered pre-production, Lol.

Jez/Grubb constantly leak stuff which is barely in the production phase, thus years from even being revealed, let alone released.

Least nothing has been cancelled since 2017, Lol.

MLex has a new report about the case:

- MS and ABK didn’t expect the lawsuit so soon because there was little engagement from the FTC and the process seemed rushed.

- In fact, the FTC didn’t have to sue now, the speculation being that the timing of the lawsuit was a strategic choice by the FTC in light of the pending reviews in Europe and in the UK, at a critical phase in the process right now.

- It looks like the FTC believes that after the Illumina/Grail case (blocked by the EC), it's easier to get these deals blocked in Europe rather than having to litigate them in the US.

- The report literally says "Did the FTC file suit and accuse Microsoft of lying to the European Commission in order to pressure the commission not to settle this case?"

-
The report says that the lawsuit could make more difficult for the European Commission to contemplate accepting remedies at an early stage without filing charges, assuming it wanted to. Therefore, the EC may prefer to wait until the CMA is done and let the process play out in UK before doing anything.

It sounds like MS isn’t very happy with the FTC :P

Lol, as I said, FTC is relying on Europe/UK to save their ass, don't need to put any effort into your case if someone else blocks the deal, literally just letting Europe/UK do the work for them, it's a smart but risky play. They rushed the suit in order to put pressure onto UK/EU, I would hope EU would see through this and tell them to bugger off and do their own damn work, Lol.

This really does feel like a gross abuse of power though, Lol.

Amazon buying Embracer Group confirmed!!

Is this related to the Tomb Raider thing? Would be hilarious but I can see Embracer licensing out the IPs they own similar to how Disney is licensing out their IPs specifically from Marvel to EA, etc.

Whatever the reason may be , I hope the third party support gets better from Japanese devs.

Game number 69 High on Life beaten!

Game number 70... TEKKEN 7!!

Think this is the most games I've played in a year.

Damn, I use to pull those type of numbers when I had more free time.

70 games ... That's more than I've finished in any year ever XD

Most I've finished is 102 but that was back in 2017.

This year I've barely finished 15 I think.

Off-topic but yesterday was my 8yrs here, I feel disgustingly old.

11 years for me - pretty crazy I've been on this forum for at least 1/3 of my life.

This is like one of 4-5 sites that I've been a member of that I'm in 10+ years.

I can certainly agree with this statement but things is in that context GamePass subscription remain at 30m ish whit slow to moderate growth.

Ms certainly have better hopes for gamepass, some that will see a userbase the likes of netflix at 200m+. For that, as we've seen this year, MS need way more release and exclusive certainly would help a lot.

So while I agree it is not necessary to satisfy and retain the current userbase, it is necessary for MS ambition to come true.

I think that if someone expects that game pass will hit 200m+ then he is a bit out of touch with reality. Like it or not but hitting 200m like Netflix has always been impossible target for lots of various reasons. If MS manages to get to 50m at least, this will be a huge success.

That depends on what timeframe we are looking at. 50m-60m seems like a great target for the end of this gen but Gamepass subscriptions have the advantage of not resetting each gen. if we look long term like 15-20 years who knows? The gaming usebaser looks about 2x what it was 20 years ago if it has the same growth 20 years from now it certainly unlocks many possibilities.

I also believe Series S / GamePass combo is the greatest tool ever to date when it comes to unlocking emerging markets and a potential Series S Slim in some 2 years might be even better. if ever MS were to be able to hit a 100$-150$ mark just who knows the kind of sale they might reach.

As of now, Gamepass subscription growth is extremely tied to console sales but MS is trying to change that through XCloud, it's still too early to be of any significance but 10 years down the line?

Also if the deal does succeed MS's ability to churn out AAA won't be anything we've ever seen.

Anyway, I am not actually expecting that much and also think 50M-60M is more realistic in 3-5 years timeframe but I see a good probability (relatively speaking probably like 5-10%) of eventually witnessing a way more surprising growth.

Damn bros. MS are making Sony make another GaaS game thanks to gamepass that would have nothing but GaaS games and this time its

Horizon
Damn gamepass and their GaaS games making all other companys need to make and turn their games into GaaS .
