Oh I just had a random thought, if the stores were ever merged, GP Console and GP PC can finally be merged into just "Game Pass" Lol.

Lol, digital-only and 100-dollar games? consoles are dead to me if that happens.

Gaming will be dead for a lot of people.  Especially if the choice is do I eat this week? or do I buy a game?

Definitely will be dead for me. I either wait for a game to go on sale or am insanely selective over what game I get when it launches.

Just for my family alone groceries are about $120/week give or take. Prices go up too high and I'll just be sticking to my collection of emulated games.

Maybe they can take this opportunity to create a better 'store' on PC. It certainly leaves some things to be desired when comparing with Steam of even the Xbox Store on console.

I wonder how much transparency we're going to see from this podcast on Thursday. Have very little faith anymore. Case by case = Xbox going through a wall.

Will you finally clean your room after the Xbox is shattered over your floor?

Perfect gif doesn't exi--

Happy V day pimp.

If they leapfrog $80 and $90 and go straight to $100.....

Didn't you spend 100$ on Starfield tho?

Same here for the most part. If it is on Game Pass or is a big Nintendo game I am excited for I'll play it day one. Otherwise I wait for sales to buy games. A lot of the time you can get games heavily discounted within 6 months of release.

I have only bought 2 games at full price since 2020 honestly, they were Cyberpunk 2077 and Hogwarts Legacy, and honestly I felt kind of short-changed by both purchases, Cyberpunk because I got hit by a game breaking bug due to it's messy state, Hogwarts because I 100% completed it in only like 60 hours, not even getting an hour of content per dollar I spend just doesn't seem like good value to me any longer. With the poor state the economy is in, gaming is becoming far too expensive for my tastes. The only things keeping me gaming are subscription services like Gamepass and Gamefly, and deep discounts on both physical Amazon sales and digital Xbox store sales. Being able to fully fund Gamepass with just Microsoft Rewards points helps alot, but who knows how long that will last, with Microsoft continually decreasing the number of points you can earn and making it harder to earn them, and likely future Gamepass price increases also likely driving up the rewards points costs. Moving to PC gaming and the cheaper PC gamepass is seeming more and more like the best plan for me moving forward.

Well 100$ is nothing new, plenty of games now have 100$ versions that you can play early, I honestly expect GTAVI to be 100$
