As someone who doesn't even own that plastic box (precisely because hasn't felt the need to get one) I can tell you that there is PLENTY of evidence that it does indeed devalue the plastic box; or else why do you think Sony is out there paying SE to keep FF away from Xbox? Even when every Sony fan swear that FF doesn't even sell on Xbox?
