It's the bandit with the scope that's now the starting weapon in ranked. Bandit EVO is what it's called.

Ah, makes sense. Haven't played Infinite since July I think, been busy with too many other games. I would think that putting a scope on the Bandit would fix all of it's problems, unless they reduced it's stats to compensate for the scope, increasing it's already pretty high TTK in the process.

I guess the biggest problem is if you are used to specific weapons so that new additions always feel weird first. If you play hundreds of hours with one weapon just to get another one it might feel bad but will be good after a while lol

I think my main issue with the season 3 scopeless Bandit is that it replaced the BR or commando on some maps and matches due to the randomized per match weapon spawn boxes. Infinite badly needs more precision weapon spawn boxes added to each map so that there is always somewhere on the map you can go to find the BR, Commando, or Bandit based on your personal precision weapon preference. Having an entire match where your only options for precision weapons were pistol and scopeless Bandit really sucked imo, and I ended up playing so many matches like that in season 3 and 4 that it kind of turned me off the game.

343 can chill on the maps now, they have more than enough content, I'd like to see them add more weapons to the game.
