Ubisoft can’t assign the agreement with MS to a third party (someone buying them, for example) unless MS agrees (in some specific cases). In those cases, if MS delays, conditions or withhelds the consent, the CMA will be able to intervene (pages 4-5 from the remedies acceptance):

In addition, the Proposed Undertakings enable the CMA to be involved in any arbitration proceedings arising in relation to assignment of the Ubisoft Divestment Agreement to a third party. Under the terms of the Ubisoft Divestment Agreement, assignment of the Ubisoft Divestment Agreement by Ubisoft to a third party requires the Parties' consent in certain circumstances, which cannot be unreasonably withheld, delayed, or conditioned. In the event of any dispute in relation to the granting of the Parties' consent being referred to arbitration, the Proposed Undertakings require the Parties to promptly notify the CMA of the dispute and provide the CMA with the opportunity to provide representations on the proposed assignment.

The Ubisoft agreement is only about console and PC games from ABK, no mobile games (page 18 from the proposed remedies)

Activision Games means Activision console or PC games and related additional or downloadable digital content that: (i) are commercially available as of the Closing Date and were developed, in whole or in part, by any Activision Studio; or (ii) are commercially released by or on behalf Activision or its controlled affiliates or the Activision Studios during the Term that either (a) are developed, in whole or in part, by any of the Activision Studios, or (b) are based, in full or in substantial part, on intellectual property rights in any Activision developed games that were previously commercially released by the Activision Studios. Remastered, special or collector editions of an Activision Game will be considered the same version of such Activision Game. Schedule 3 sets out the current list of Activision Games as at the Commencement Date.

On the other hand, this is the list of current Activision games affected by the Ubisoft agreement (I get why Guitar Hero or Tony Hawk games are not included, but isn’t that list kind of short?):

Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare
Call of Duty: Black Ops

Sales breakdown for the Japanese D3 Publisher game Ed-0: Zombie Uprising, which released 2 months ago. Xbox sales were about 50% of PS5 (with no physical release like Sony got, digital only) and 63% of Steam; overall, Xbox accounted for 21% of sales. Game was a flop though, with just 13,000 copies sold so far in 2 months.

Honestly don’t expect a big acquisition from MS probably for like atleast 5 years. It’s time for what they acquired to start putting out content and the content should be enough at this point. If they were to acquire another studio or publisher it’d be a mobile one.

This makes me confused, Lmao. Of course we can't extrapolate this to all titles but 21% of sales for a niche ass title that I've never heard of and without a physical release versus other consoles and 20% including PS AND Steam. Those are pretty good numbers for a niche title. Regardless of whether it flopped on all platforms.

Surely something like Earth Defence Force wouldn't do worse than this?
