Diablo IV is another game I thought might be delayed from "first half" and it's cutting it close

But on the plus side, it puts the chances of it launching into Game Pass on day one back to likely!

These two statements seem slightly incongruent with each other.
Media is getting early access to the game now...but it won't ship until June? 

I mean it would make sense if we're talking about some kind of demo slice or whatnot, but this doesn't really make it sound as such. Are all the media members, and influencers official beta testers for this game now?

Early access as in a press event.

Insider Gaming understands this is still the case, with over 100 journalists getting the opportunity to see a behind-the-scenes presentation as well as getting the opportunity to get hands-on with the game. It’s believed the embargo for the event and hands-on impressions will lift on December 7.

They did an event for all these influencers and media, and got announcements planned for TGAs...but all these media members are leaking it now? Wtf? Did they not get NDAs, or does just nobody give a fuck? What's the point of this shit? All you had to do was wait like one more week

Perhaps Blizzard is trying to get as much positive press as humanly possible for Diablo IV given the massive backlash Diablo Immortal had lol

June will be good for Microsoft though. Back to a strong possibility of Diablo IV launching into Game Pass...Crazy year for Game Pass.

I for one would be more than happy if MS ever managed to stop their constant leaks.

Yeah, this at least seems to rule out June for Starfield, I can't see MS releasing it against Diablo 4 if the acquisition has closed by then, and even if it hasn't, I still see them paying for day one Gamepass on Diablo most likely, so they would be fools to have both release the same month. Hopefully we're looking at early May Starfield and last week of June for Diablo to put as much of a gap between them as possible, Starfield will be well over 200 hours I'm sure. Skyrim was like 150+ hours at launch and Starfield has like 4x more dialogue and 1000 planers to explore.
