I have no stolen goods but keep getting scanned as such. Is there a fix?

You always get scanned entering major planets, just part of the lore of the game.

Like going to the airport.

Yeah but I have nothing on my ship stolen or contraband and the scanner is picking it up. I don’t want to ruin the proper intro to neon by starting in jail. Possibly a bug? I went to everyone on my ship and the cargo to make sure there weren’t any stolen or contraband.

Did you steal this ship, or was this your intro? If you stole it, you might have something laying around, I know I did and was confused why i got caught. If not, then idk, might be a bug.

I stole the ship early in the game and have only had this issue recently.

Bug Warning: if you keep over 400 different Manual Save Slots the game will start to crash on both PC & Xbox. Try to keep it under 300 Manual Save Slots and it will be fine. You can overwrite these as often as needed and make unlimited Quicksaves.

Source: Powerpyx

Had over 70 myself, lowered that down to 10.

400 manual save slots?

You mean like with data saved on 400 slots?

And here I thought I was saving to too many slots (I typically do around 3-6 per RPG when I can lol).

Now I sleep, and tomorrow, another entire day of Starfield.

So annoyed I couldn't take a week off because of shitty insurance "busy time." Had to waste my week in August on Xenoblade RIP.

Bet the insurance folk are playing Starfield.

So is the scanner saying that you have contraband?

Do you only get contraband warnings at Neon or New Atlantis and Akila as well? Have you checked the cargo hold, captain's locker, have you looked at the physical contents of your ship, into all your inventory? Maybe there's a hidden contraband item physically on your ship. Isn't there an option to just pay a fine and hand over the item?

There is a perk which lets you hide contraband but it's pretty useless to get if you aren't planning on being a thief.

I think Fallout 4 had a feature on the status screen to tell you all the skill books you had, which Starfield had that.

What you mean? I didn't play Fallout 4.

The skill books are in your inventory, ordered by number too, or do you mean something else?
