Yes, if ABK had to publish a meeting to leave the deal then yes the stock would take a hit.  If ABK then publish a deal where Apple is purchasing them, their stock would jump just as much if not more.  Stocks value go up and down so that is not a big worry especially since it can be a temporary thing.

All the no shop and no Solicitation is gone because the deal has reach its termination point.  ABK does not have to directly communicate to any suiter they are willing to sell, they already did so with MS.  The suiters will come to them and right now in the gaming space its going to be a war on content.  All interested players are looking for content and any new player like Apple or Google need a company at the size of ABK to spring into the market.

I do not remember who approach who first.  At the time Bobby was going though some stuff and I thought that it was Phil that threw out a life line and Bobby said how much you willing to invest.  With everyone really interested in seeing ABK land somewhere, it really does not have to be with MS.

The fact we have not heard about an extension to the deal well before this termination date of today suggest to me that ABK is seriously considering other options and when money like 70Billion is getting thrown around, anything could happen.

To me, it suggests there's no hurry else I would find it highly probable leaks will have occurred displaying MS struggle by now. Also, it's possible that MS and ABK are discussing a new arrangement but won't put it forth for a vote until specifically requested by shareholders. The confidence of all parties seems to be high that it would go through.

I've read multiple times in the Era thread that they don't actually have to do a shareholder vote to extend the deal by a short time but I don't know if that is true, it is definitely what a lot are saying though. Maybe they have to do one if it's a drastic change of circumstances but not one if it's a minor change? Tbh in my mind, a shareholder vote for a 1-2 month delay sounds a bit unnecessary.

I've still got my MW3 and Black Ops 1 360 copies. Sadly I don't have an Xbox to play them. Hopefully they hit gamepass.

You got better odds of an asteroid hitting Microsoft HQ than Bobby backing out at this point.

Odds of someone else outbidding Microsoft? Maybe about the same as me finding $100,000 on the floor.

Extension agreement is to calm investors too and keep the stock price stable.

Lol. Went about as expected. Didn't even look at that shit.

Rejected by a Dem too? Lol. Not wasting their time on this shit.

So you're saying there's a chance

Yes, I believe it's in the way they could propose the extension, ABK can say they will still abide by the deal up to X after that they would do another vote to either formally extend the deal or leave it while preparing and extended version in the mean time to submit to a vote in case they do have to go to that extent.

This should be within Kottick's power because he also allows shareholders to voice displeasure by announcing their plans. This would not result in a material change to the deals though, only a set timeline to which they might or quit.

But I'm just speculating on the way I would find adequate if I was a shareholder. @Imaginedvl can tell if he finds this adequate 😉.

The Gamers Lawsuit is over now, right? They can't appeal to anyone else, it's done?

INB4 They appeal to Joe Biden

Some lawyer scammed the fuck out of these morons.

Am I the only one playing Halo infinite here? I just finished the infection season pass, I still think it's a solid MP despite some shortcomings. I think the pop is really low as I always match against the same people lol

^^ Might be time to play a new game pimp.
With CoD, Halo more dead than before.

Not at all, I've been playing it like crazy. Ranked arena is the most fun I've had with any FPS shooter ever. We've got a good group and my 10-year-old son is also playing, better than me sometimes lol.

I don't think the pop is that low though. Yes you often see familiar gamertags but I can find ranked games pretty quickly at any time using local matchmaking. And on quickplay, Fiesta etc you always get a match almost instantly.

It's a great multiplayer game! Got me into watching E-sports too.
