45 minute lunch break. Sarah did brilliantly, that's our next Head of Gaming!
Loved how many games she namedropped, can tell how passionate she is about videogames.

Sarah Bond explaining how Xbox Game Pass works to the Judge and the Judge is like…”Wow so I don’t have to spend 70 dollars, I can just play it?”
Sounds like Sarah got another subscriber there 👍 pic.twitter.com/CVEZe6tthr

Loved how she tried to get personal with the judge and crack a few jokes, she was confident as heck.
Pete and Booty by comparison sounded nervous as hell, Lmao.
But Pete's PR skills definitely helped him out there.
In a new #Starfield interview, Todd Howard confirms:

1. No ground vehicles/animal mounts.
2. FOUR main romanceable companions - the Constellation Crew.
3. No fishing (lol okay)
4. 10% of planets have life on them.
5. There's a radio station local to one location.

No ground vehicles or mounts definitely seems like a pretty big oversight to me. Each of the 1000+ planets is presumably quite large, I'm sure they didn't make any of them that anywhere near as big as Earth (let alone bigger than Earth), but I'd assume the biggest of them are probably at least a few hundred miles in circumference, and that is way too much ground to cover on foot. And just fast traveling back to your ship and landing in a different spot doesn't sound very efficient for exploring the larger planets. Hopefully ground vehicles or hover bikes or something are a high priority addition for the DLC.
Only four main romance options also sounds a bit lacking. Sure there will be others, but they will be much shorter and less fleshed out it seems. Since we now know that all 4 main romance options are members of Constellation, we can pretty much guess who the romance options are, presumably 2 male, 2 female. One male romance is known for sure because he had romance dialogue in the gameplay direct when Bethesda confirmed there is romance in the game. That would be Sam, the former space cowboy voiced by Elias Toufexis of Deus Ex fame (the voice of Adam Jensen).
There were only 2 female members of Constellation in the Starfield direct, so it's a safe bet that both of them will be the 2 female romance options. They are:
Sarah Morgan (the leader of Constellation)
Noelle (the chief scientist of Constellation)
No idea who the other male romance option would be, there were several other male members of Constellation shown, including Mateo (the Theologian of Constellation), Walter (the financier of Constellation), Vlad (an ex Space Pirate), and Barrett. I'm guessing Barrett, because Bethesda chose to feature a voice line of his in the direct, but it could be one of the others.
Anyway, 4 main options does feel a bit limiting, just as it did in Cyberpunk 2077, but at least there are more options, even if they will be less fleshed out. Hopefully we get more main romance options in the DLC's as well.
Can't even tell them to fix their mic because nobody is meant to be streaming this. 🥲😂
For the majority of publishers and developers, the rev share is 70-30

Includes in-game monetization as well.
Microsoft agreed to a different rev share with Activision because the Call of Duty team wasn't willing to start using the devkits until a deal was struck.

Sarah Bond now explaining difficulties in working out an agreement with Activision regarding CoD. They always want new versions of titles already available on Xbox to be released there as well, but negotiations about revenue share etc. were tough.

"The Call of Duty team" aka Kotick the greedy little prick.
"It was clear if we did not move beyond the standard rev share, he would not place Call of Duty on Xbox."

Xbox declined to bit on the marketing deal.

Now on Activision's negotiations with MS when preparing to bring COD to gen 9 consoles.
— Michael Acton (@MActon93) June 22, 2023
Activision used to its advantage and its team didn't agree to prepare dev tool kits until a deal was reached on the revenue share. It got a better deal from MS, Bond confirms.
So Activision-Blizzard has a 75/25 split with Sony due to their marketing/timed content partnership and then they go to Xbox and threaten them with a "You better give us 75% too or we ain't putting CoD on Xbox" Perfectly demonstrating the weakness Xbox has in negotiating due to Sony/Activision partnership and allowing Activision to exploit the weak position of Xbox.
