For real though, there isn't really anymore spam than the previous three iterations of Empire, unless you're that upset about congratulating Gtotheunit on being a dad, wishing each other Happy Thanksgiving or helping each other out (I don't care if Trunks wanted help to improve his YouTube thumbnails for example, it's a nice thing to do and even that is still somewhat related to Gaming).

Lighten up a little, it is an Xbox thread, that is true and like 95% of it is Xbox related news or Gaming news but as I see it and as I want it, this thread is also a community thread as well, a little off topic every now and then is completely harmless, it isn't hard to skim read past it and any major news will be put into the title anyway.

As for the regulator stuff, I will actually say that I can't wait until 2023 for when we have more things to talk about, a large chunk of this year has been about Activision-Blizzard but that's what happens when Xbox has barely any other news for the entire year or major releases, they're to blame. 2023 will be hugely better in this regard though, they'll still be acquisition talk, but it will be broken up better by other news.

But this regulator talk is also both on topic regardless of the above and provides interesting information on a few occasions, it provides insights into the industry and gives us new information on a few companies, such as the post on the previous page, a lot of that stuff we didn't know about and now we do.

Maybe we could panic less about certain updates but the regulator stuff itself is fine. Maybe it's just me but this sort of post annoys me more than the vast majority of "off-topic spam" Lol. Doesn't really add anything except to vaguely complain. This site is on its last legs, I don't think it's a smart idea to constantly police utterly harmless posts under "spam" like the 2014-2015 days.

I know certain ratz don't like aqui talk, but idgaf. Sit and spin, love talkin about potential buyers for Xbox. Like WCB said above, nothing else has come out this year. Our biggest highlight was January, which is in jeopardy as of now. No real big games, and some xbots Ice here refuse to play games they wanted.

That's it so far sadly. Last year was so much better, but that's probably because a lot of the games were older I didn't have. I suspect next year will be much better.

Picked up Series S console for 219€. It'll replace my One X as secondary console, I just can't take those loading times anymore. And I needed a new controller anyway.

So here they say that they missed their forecast by 28%. Satya's bonus was missed by 45% in the same FY2022, so we have the difference between internal/Satya bonus now. But wouldn't that imply that Game Pass has stayed at 25m since January 2022? I'm a little confused unless Game Pass has completely stagnated or I'm being an idiot.

That's a bit funny thinking about it.

If it does fail, then I think Microsoft should go for the following next.

• Sega for Japanese content as that would fill another gap they have in their exclusive line-up and also their strong PC line-up, Sega West unlike Square West is actually successful and ran well, they are no Blizzard, but they have some strong PC IPs which should help Xbox since they're clearly struggling on PC without Steam.

*I'm thinking though that even if they improve Windows Store a lot, they still need to get Game Pass on Steam somehow.

• Support studios like Certain Affinity and SkyBox Labs who can also do original IP and hope they're successful but are essential for Halo as well, if they lose CoD then they absolutely have to triple down on Halo and give it much larger investment, not CoD level investment but if they want to compete with CoD then they have to put the investment in.
• Already well established and strong studios, such as Asobo and IO Interactive, both of whom are working on Xbox IP right now and are very capable developers, producing high quality products.
• Some other Mobile Studio, I don't know who, but they clearly have large mobile ambitions, and they hinge on having a very strong mobile developer, losing ABK is a blow to that, and I think they'll still try to get one elsewhere, but I don't know any mobile studios Tbh.

Those should be first and if it's possible they should buy Crystal Dynamics and Eidos from Embracer Group with the IPs.

I was honestly thinking of getting a series S for my work station. Would be a great secondary console when work is slow.

If it's stayed at 25m that's not bad considering there's been nothing released in 11 months.

Yakuza 6: After Ps, I am now collecting them all on Xbox, only 3-4-5 left to get..

Lego skywalker saga:  Wanted this game for a long time but it finally came down to a reasonable price

Ruinverse: Rpg maker made style of game but for a small price I am fine with them

Aria seaons(and something else): Think I wanted to get this game for + 5 years and finally picked it up...


Still thinking about getting Tales of Arise/Far cry 6/ Judgement.....Hmm well will see
