I can't stand Colteastwood lol. Nothing but a console warrior.

I will be massively disappointed if a Series S price cut isn't announced on the Xbox showcase. It's sales have fallen off massively at $300 or equivalent in other currencies, Europe is way down, Japan numbers have gone completely down the toilet compared to a year ago (just 156 S and 172 X on the most recent week, and that week is not an outlier), even in the UK S isn't selling very well anymore, it's only in the US that it seems to be moving even decently at $300, even there it is still down compared to a year ago. S badly needs that $250 official price, alongside a Starfield standard S bundle for that price later this year. 2023 sales can still be salvaged but Xbox needs to act soon and make some big plays.
They need to stop worrying about losing money on hardware, hardware is meant to be sold at a loss, most console hardware was sold at loss for generation after generation until Xbox, Sony, and Nintendo suddenly started caring about breaking even on hardware in just the last generation for each of them. You don't need to break even on hardware, it's proven that it's better to sell more hardware at a loss, growing your install base and therefore the number of people who will buy software, official accessories, and subscriptions, all of which have huge profit margins which make up for any loss on hardware. The more consoles they get into people's hands early gen, the more that investment will pay off for them later into a generation.

Series S has a Pro member price promo to $259, and the Diablo 4 bundle is right behind the Series S pic.twitter.com/olhhRYFqKq
Haven't heard anything on Flintlock in a while. Maybe today?
