Yeah, figured they were going to end on FF7 Rebirth. These shows usually only have one note-worthy game shown and that was FF7 Rebirth (for me anyway, don't care about Mortal Kombat personally).

Started off okay then it took a nosedive, pacing was pretty awful in parts, that Alan Wake 2 segment was like 80% talking and 20% gameplay, 2nd half was pretty bad, a few decent looking games but mostly nothing new, meh.

5/10.

It was an 8 for me but then again, I do not hang on every game announcement.  There were a at least about 5 games I am interested in.  Seeing FF at the end on 2 disc means probably will be playing that for months.  Mortal Kombat is one game I was looking forward to seeing and it looked great.  Want to see more of it. Saw gameplay for "Like a Dragon" which actually interested me more for this game then the previous games.  Also just showing a bunch of trailers can be boring as well, its good to break it up a bit which I believe even MS learned from one of their conferences.

It was a 5 at much for me until Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth. Made it a 7 then :D I mean, I would love for those games to come on Xbox but they won't and as I have a Play station 5, I loved the first one and cannot wait to get my hands on this one too early 2024! So the end was good for me at least.

Actually, if they would have shown some stuff from the Paradox Star Trek grand strategy game, would be an 8 for me. But this will have to wait June 16th.

I'd say all the showcases have been mediocre so far. Sony was weak for 1st party reveals, SGF was weak for new reveals, pacing and content (mobile games, tv shows). Few titles I was interested in both but really not enough. Dragon's Dogma 2 is the best title shown so far. SGF was mainly interesting for the starting titles and the end title, Lol.

5.5 for me! Started off strong, but terrible pacing. I understand the adverts, but some of the mobile crap and needless talking segments were terrible. Geoff really got Sony by the grapes huh... Spiderman 2 and FF 7. Both could have been at sony's show. Interested in a few games, but nothing much outside of that. Least he said the temper expectations I think.

Onto the Xbox show...

No Nintendo show either this year, so all that is left for me is Xbox show and Capcom show, Lol.

True, since this is probably close to big publisher mini conference, we probably were not going to see a lot of World Premier of new content.  I will say I am a gamer first and foremost more than a specific hardware gamer.  I have all the consoles, a PC and a high end phone so I usually game on just about everything.  Hell I even have a Ipad Pro which I also use for gaming.  So for me, I do not care if a game is on mobile, F2P, Xbox, PS5, Switch or PC, as long as I am interested in the game, I am good to go.

If there's a Nintendo show, they'll probably just announce it 3 days ahead of time.

"Hey, we got some things to show again. Turn up, or don't, whatever. Leave us alone now, we're busy counting money."
