Oy vey... Well, so much for Home. Now give us our f****** in-game XMB, custom soundtracks and improved web browser with Flash Player 8 to take the bitter tastes out of our mouths.

ahhh, this sucks,,,Sony and its Home is really getting frustrating,,,the shouldn't ahve talked about so early man ,,,but if they do what you said ,,,,It ll be even better than home for me.

Well this was not unexpected. From what I have experianced in Home, if they were to release it right now it would get trashed. I think buy the end of this summer they will have it tuned well enoghf for the soft launch. I still think it should only be available to thouse who seek it out this fall. The actual release to all PS3 users needs to come once the product is running at a level people would expect from SCEI.

To those not in the beta. There are plenty of other things coming to tide us over tell Home is a well oiled machine.

Stop hate, let others live the life they were given. Everyone has their problems, and no one should have to feel ashamed for the way they were born. Be proud of who you are, encourage others to be proud of themselves. Learn, research, absorb everything around you. Nothing is meaningless, a purpose is placed on everything no matter how you perceive it. Discover how to love, and share that love with everything that you encounter. Help make existence a beautiful thing.

KBG29 on PSN&XBL

This is just stupid, Over 1year delay before it comes out, watch when fall comes, it will be delayed again. Socom is also 9-11months late aswell, MGS4 is atleast 6months late too. GT5 and FF13, who the fuck even knows when these games are ever going to come out for the system. Killzone2 better hit this year or i will be really pissed.

I wish Sony was more like Insomniac, they are going to have 3 games out on the PS3 before some people even have one out.

Sony is not google, so I don't think we can call a beta a release...

PS: There wouldn't be any big disappointment if Sony didn't always hype things so early.

This!

there really is no need at all for playstation home. you kind of get the feeling that they regret hyping this project, because they probably want to drop it, now that their customers want to go a different direction. there has been more anticipation for in-game xmb than home, and if they dedicated all the time to accomplish that, we would have it by now.

unlucky sony.

I can't believe how many people are giving Sony a free pass on this and just saying "Whatever. Better late than never or broken."

What a crock of crap. LAST Novemeber they had holiday commercials advertising like it was already available, and it may not even be out THIS November? That's total BS and inexcusable. Any Sony fanboys who write this off are such hypocrites, because if the same thing happened to a highly publicized feature of Wii or 360, you'd be all over it like flies on a copy of Superman 64. The arrogant little bastards are just expecting everybody to sit there and wait - and then when it comes out it's a BETA?!?!? Screw you, Sony.

This is such utter crap. It's not like they have been rolling out other features, other than revamping the store. And when they do roll something out it'll be another 45 minute update process. THIS is the kind of crap why my PS3 only gets 20% of my play time and 10% or so of my software purchases.

Can't we all just get along and play our games in peace?

I was never really that interested in Home, but now that its been delayed yet again, I'm not sure if I'll ever check it out. With all the games coming up this year and next, I'm gonna be hard pressed to find enough free time for all of it.

Although im disappointed can you imagine the press if this thing came out this summer and was garbage? Even a patch that fixed it wouldnt save it. I think sony showed it off too early and are simply paying the price for it now. Anyone else noticing a trend here? Japanese hardware companies cannot do online but american companies can do online but cannot do hardware? Maybe they should all work together to make the perfect system. Maybe in another lifetime though.

Sony showed it off too early on purpose. The PS3 needed a sales boost, Sony needed a huge list of awesome 2007 releases.  Games like Killzone 2 and Home that Sony knew had no chance of coming out anytime soon.
