Embracer needs to do its own Smash Bros. clone. Tiny Tina, Sgt. Matt Baker, Lara Croft, Adam Jensen, Duke Nukem, Gandalf, the goat, the knockoff Wolverines from Homefront, John and Thresher from Plumbers Don't Wear Ties,. New characters would be handled by Limited Run Games: announced and $80 pre-orders taken, with the characters released four years later. Embracer All-Stars Battle Royale arcade machines would be in the food court at IKEA.

Yeah, tbf, the currency is in SEK which is about 10.5 per 1USD. So they are experiencing a net loss of 4.29 billion SEK equating to about 400 million USD.

$400 million isn't much, depending on how they use these acquisitions they can easily get it back. At the same time, it can easily end in a disaster. Embracer is surely taking some risk, but whoever is negotiating for them are skilled for getting these rather cheap. That's what investing is about and Amazon for example also started off with a huge loss.
