It seems like Xenoblade chronicles 3 sold much better on launch week than Nintendo were anticipating therefore week 2 faced major stock shortages.

Two decent weeks in a row for PS5. Maybe it is a sign of improving stock for the console in Spain.

Xenoblade Chronicles 3 facing stock shortages has to be a good sign for the game.

For the rest of the year i can see sales being close to even between Switch and PS5 in Spain, it won't be the trouncing it like it was in the first half of the year.

As long as PS5 stock remains good I agree Switch and PS5 sales will be much closer. I see Xbox Series X|S sales remaining between 1,000 and 2,000 for most weeks until the holidays.

So 50% of the stores are out of XC3 stock.

Out the top ten, nine games are Switch, and out of those, seven are 1st party. I wonder why it takes so much effort for PS5/XBox XS to move software in retail.
Also, I'm so happy Digimon Survive hasn't dropped out of the top ten yet.

You know it deserves the GOTY.

XC3 was obviously gonna face shortages on it's release since it's by far the most wanted game in the series and there's the hype factor riding it.

Really, I'm actually saddened Nintendo hasn't actually printed more on release.
Do they want to break the series record or not lol

Spain has more retail presence than the UK.

The dominance of retail is more problematic than the UK.

It already had by far the biggest launch of the series in Spain. They had already printed a fuck ton of copies. The shortages come from the game relatively overperforming in Spain specifically.
