Lol, deja vu.....

But anyhow, I bought a ps3 for the games...I didn't even know what blu-ray was when I bought my ps3.  However, I've come to love the blu-ray quality and now own over 100.  But I definitely buy games too...I have 24 ps3 games.

I need to be playin some true HD games

so yea i bought it for true hd, but mostly for games. buying a blu ray movie to me is a waste of time. what is it like 40 bucks for a movie including tax? im not payin that. Ill just get a burnt copy.

ya like someone said above, my parents finished the basement and wanted to get the big entertainment center. i had a ps2 and when the 360 came out i really looked into it. i knew i would like games on both consoles so it came down to features and such. when i started learning about bluray and all this high def stuff i was hooked. also when getting a $4000 tv, why get a VCR? ok maybe a little i over exadurated a bit! it was kind of funny, when best buy came and plugged everything in, just gotten the new 1080p 60 inch tv, and my mom says "are we getting a VCR? we need to be able to watch the old kids movies!!!!" took me awhile to explain that one.

I bought it for games, but when we got the HDTV I discovered just how awesome Blu-Ray is.

At first I did. After a while though I got to love the ps3 for games along with blu-ray.

I'll be contructive. My friend's dad did buy one just for blu-ray, but since then they've bought Folklore and GT 5 Prologue. They are also about to get Uncharted.

You may be able to see the sweat dripping off a chick's back  in crystal clarity from your couch; but it definately looks much better in real life when you wipe it off and keep going.

Couldn't have said it better man,,,After i got the HD TV my prospective of Bluray picture quality changed all of a sudden ,,,casue with  SD TV it looked like DVD and nothing special but with the HD TV it was a different story.
