I kinda hope it is a console instead of a hand held game. Don't get me wrong, I love the hand held games, it's just that I kind of want to see a great 3D game from them which they are capable of, but haven't shown it yet.

a great 3D Castlevania has not been made but is indeed possible. Konami just have to give Igarashi a little more resources and not have the game rushed for the holidays like the previous 3D Castlevania

That is true.  I didn't mind Lamnent of Innocence, or Curse of Darkness, i liked those a lot, but didnt think they were great, just fun to pop in and play.  Curse of Darkness had great ideas implemented but werent shown its potential, which helped showed how they rushed it for the holidays.  Exameple Ideas I liked from Curse of Darkness:  Forging Weapons.  I loved doing that.  I'd also love to see them implement Magic Spells, something like how in Symphony of the Night style, where you had to do button combination for a certain spell.  Now that would be fun to do in a 3D Castlevania.  Also, they NEED to have one giant castle, instead of non-castle areas until the final area of the game.  And it needs to be different from LoI Castle style.

I remember that Koji igarashi said that after the NDS version he would make one for the consoles and he even mentioned the 3 of them:

maybe he said that to not compromise himself but it would be cool to see it in the wii ^^

Wonder which one IGA will choose.  It could be multiplat like CoD was.

Ah that would be cool to see! :D

If this is a console castlevania, there is no reason for it to come out for wii only. Unless its castlevania fishing mini games...

I hope its PSN, Wiiware, Live title and in 2D.

If its 3D however...I wanna see it on PS360 first and foremost.

LOL at the idea of MGS4 being cancelled for a Castlevania game

Thats a tough call to me actually...whichone i like more... To me Castlevania SoTN > MGS 1,2 or 3.

But MGS 1 + MGS2 + MGS3 > All castlevanias combined.
