Forums - Nintendo - SMG is giving me carpal tunnel

Maybe you shake too much with the wrist, using a larger part of your arm might be an option.

I agree the camera can be a bitch at times, which is by far my biggest complain about the game. Luckily it was only at certain parts of the game, so it didn't get too annoying.

^Playing anything standing up in gamestop is uncomfortable though. If you played it at home, you wouldn't have any problems.

I played the Wii at my cousin's house (DMeisterJ). And he knows how I felt about the Wii. When I was over there I played Wii Sports, Resident Evil: Umbrella Chronicles.

Some awesome games by the way. But for me the Wii-mote was different to grasp then others because I for one am not use to it. Unlike some rabid fanboys who love Nintendo will defintely find ways to get use to it in like 20 minutes and say its a awesome experience.

And to tell you the truth the Wii-mote is awesome itself. Maybe once I get one I can pass judgement on the experience. I'm more like telling you a personal experience from me playing it over a peeps house.

didn't know u were cousins with DMeisterJ

OT: Wonder if Ninty expected these type of problems. lol

Yes we are, you need proof then I will go over his crib and take a pic with him. We are indeed cousins. I showed DMeisterJ this site and he would post very little, but as he got use to the site he became addicted, to what he is today as we speak...lol

But general speaking bro, like I said in my previous post to famousringo. I think the ads what Nintendo provided had me think that you have to always move your arms, and thats what I have been doing and its tedious to me. But famousringo just showed me a technique that I should use as future reference for my arms.

Seriously, this game is f***ing up my wrist with all the shaking. I thought my years of chronic masturbation had worked out these sorts of problems but apparently I was wrong. I can play it for about 2 hours before it starts hurting badly enough to stop.

Has anyone else had this problem with this game? I have played plenty of other Wii games but this is the only one that is giving me fits like this.

Swing your arm, not your wrist.

That involves moving an extra joint. Too much work.

That's it, I'm selling the Wii.

You play like that in games that use the sensor bar?

Cause whenever I had to use the bar in Zelda, I had to change how I was sitting.

Yup not only did I play Zelda which you mentioned but Trauma Center and Metroid Prime also, which use the sensor bar/IR connection much more extensively (Zelda only used it for menus/buttons and arrows/hookshot IIRC compared to FPS like MoH:H2) and I played them without trouble.

Maybe if your TV is large or set up high put the sensor bar below the TV, not above it so you don't have to reach up as high.

The camera only bothered me very rarely. I just put it down to the fact that this game is incredibly 3D in ways that no other game I've played has been. I mean, most games do bind you to to a mostly 2D playfield, simply because gravity works that way.

Go play Psychonauts right now. While it didn't have the crazy circular worlds of Galaxy, it was the first platformer I played to use gravity in interesting ways. Besides, it's a f***ing awesome game.

Then again, the camera was pretty buggered in that game, too...

Yep, I have a serious "I hate you! Don't leave me!" complex forming with that stupid little white box.

Why bro?

Just keep it maybe you can't deal with platformers. Is it just that game?

That game is so awesome, I heard a lot of talk about it and I might look into buying it off the marketplace.

I truly think your just out growing platformers.

Just because your having a serious problem with cameras.
